Cuna Hotel

it was central to the small town, and only a short walk to all amenities, and staff couldn’t have been better

Wi-Fi very poor, come on guys, this is essential, pool was small, and no view from the rooms, although advertised very close to a beach, it is not a beach you would want to go and sit on, it is where all the boats leave from, misleading marketing if they want to retain customers this needs to be more honest. staff made up for the less than perfect services…

The hotel was really nice in a good location near all the restaurants and bars. The rooftop pool is great to cool down from the sun. The rooftop bar was really nice to watch the sunset. We booked some transport with the hotel and it all went smoothly.

One thing that bothered us was that we arrived a day late due to a boat ticket issue, we already contacted the hotel and they said it was fine but we would still have to pay the day that we missed, which was fine and I can understand. However, the next day we arrived 2 hours before check and the room was not ready. It was resolved fairly quickly though. But after a long boat ride it just annoyed us a bit. It is hard to explain but the hotel also lacked a wow-factor.

The view from the roof top restaurant was amazing. i'm glad we chose the hotel because I think no other hotels in the area offers that view as well as the furniture and interior is very cozy

The kitchen is only open from 11am which for me is inconvenient and no breakfast included. The pool as well did not look good and looks unfinished

I like the location of the property and that the room is very spacious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful as well with our request. the view at the roofdeck is spectacular and very relaxing and wish we extended our stay

The wifi didn’t work during our stay.

When we checked in we noticed the warm welcome from the staff especially Marlon who was so accommodating and who kept answering our questions patiently till we checked out. The roofdeck had an awesome view plus the food was good too but I know it can still be improved. The happy hour drinks were affordable and music was just right for the vibe. Loved our room! Especially the bed, pillows and duvet, we had a restful sleep every night. We also love the location of the hotel, it's just walking distance to a lot of restaurants and bars but it wasnt noisy so that was a plus for us. All in all our 11th year anniversary celebration was amazing! Huge thanks to Cuna staff. We highly recommend this place and will definitely come back and stay here again.

The elevator is just on one side and it had 5 floors. Good thing we were only on the 2nd floor. The breakfast buffet was ok, maybe try adding different variations to the buffet and focus on the taste.

The hotel is in a great location, nearby lots of restaurants and cafes. There is a hostel next door which is a great place to book trips and meet new people. The rooftop bar and restaurant has a stunning view of the islands and the food is fantastic. The bed was very comfy. Wifi connection was very good and had no issues with the AC. Vanilla beach is just a short tuk tuk ride away.

The room had a very small window and little sunlight so i had to keep the light on at all times but i guess it depends which room you get.

The hotel is modern and situated in the centre of El Nido town. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The beds were extremely comfortable with the mattress pad that was added! Also had nice views from the roof top as per the pictures, but didn't get to check it out. Would like to stay here again in the future!

We were just one floor above the reception and we could hear the staff when they were laughing or talking. I saw a big rat on our same floor by the janitor's nook. We were barely in our hotel, so I did not get a chance to say anything to the staff.

Excellent staff at the front desk. Josh was most helpful and went far out of his way to assure all details were addressed with some minor issues with my room. All staff including dining staff are superb. Breakfast buffet was outstanding and you cannot beat the views from the rooftop eatery

Not really much to complain about. Nothing fancy but fair and everything you need for the price. The shower walls made of glass are not sealed well and leak a bit but that's just being picky and didn't really matter. Bed comforter is in two pieces which although not ideal still do their job

The staff is really nice, the bed is spacious and very comfortable. Air conditioning works very well and the pool has an amazing view. The hotel itself is located very near the centre so one can comfortabily walk there

The wifi was really bad because our room was so far from the router. We had to reconnect every few minutes because our phones disconnected. The room smelled pretty bad due to the water from the shower and the toilet

Our room has clean, accessible by elevator, air conditioning was cold, cute forest window view, water heater for showering worked perfectly. No issue with the toilet flush. Staff were friendly, polite and very accommodating. It will mark a good beginning and end to your stay in El Nido. Rooftop restaurant and bar has stunning view of the town and beach, and has a pool, gorgeously designed. This is walking distance to the beach where the El Nido tours gather for assembly. The hotel is close to downtown and is just perfect quiet being at the corner, where it dodges the loud and fun night scene. The best location without a doubt.

In-room slippers and toothpaste could be provided, purchasable upon request. That would be very convenient.
