ASURE Cooks Gardens Motor Lodge

Awsome place to stay. Location was close to town , rooms were so clean you could smell it was clean when you walked in and neat and tidy. We were in wanganui for a birthday and was so clsoe to the venue. The family basically booked out the whole motel.The owners were so nice they mingled with all our family we loved them . Got to know both of them and we will definitely stay again. Big ups to there staff as well for keeping this place so neat and tidy. Price was reasonable as well.i rate this accommodation 11 out of 10 best place we have found to stay in Wanganui. Number 1 on my list thats for sure.

The room was comfortable, well-equipped, clean, and a good size. The spa bath was lovely! The staff were friendly, helpful, and competent. The motel had all the facilities we needed, including a free guest laundry, and more than enough in terms of amenities. Most of the windows opened for ventilation and there was also a heatpump. The location was convenient for the town centre, and a little noisy in the morning because of traffic, but it was probably one of the best motels I have ever stayed in.

We came for a wedding the reception was right across the road from the motel which is y we chose that motel. But we also found that the motel was very central we didn't have to drive far for anything from eating to shopping which made our stay in wanganui awesome 😎

The staff were so friendly and could not do enough to help us. They gave us tips on the best restaurants to go to and offered to drive us to a restaurant and pick us up! The bed was very comfy and we had everything we needed. it was close to the main shopping and restaurant area

There was nothing to dislike about this motel unit

It was a bit hard to find the location because we were looking for Assure and could only spot Cooks garden but once we clicked that they are one and the same place it was easy. The staff were so friendly and the place was spotless. The chocolates in the fridge were a nice surprise and then we forgot to eat them.

we had cooked breakfast which was really yummy and delivered right on time. The bed was amazing to sleep in after been away from home for husbands cancer treatment this bed was just what we needed. The staff are amazing and place is of a high standard. We look forward to staying at this motel in future if we have to travel again this way.

Shower was just a little too powerful for us but I think that has to do with our age. Easy adjusted thou.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The owners were friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The convenient location made it easy to explore the area. Overall, a fantastic experience for families – we'll definitely be returning

There was nothing I didn't like. A couple of small personal preferences weren't available but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The service from the moteliers was exceptional. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and accommodate our needs. They even recommended and booked dinner for us which was outstanding also. Such an enjoyable stay, immaculately clean with exceptional service.

Plenty of space with a open plan kitchen/dinning/family room and a separate bedroom and rest room. The breakfast was a selection of cereal, fruit, bacon and eggs, toast and jam. They had a new TV which was a little hard to get the station you required. With a little help from the host and their daughter was put right quickly.
