Best Western Hotel Den Haag

It was comfortable and for a solo traveler I would say perfect size. It was clean and staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast were great, big choice of different food. Good localisation, close to center but not in it so it was nice and quiet.

Shower was pretty small and with curtain made of soft plastic the physics made it try to kill me by suffocation. For the money I payed i was expecting a bit bigger room and not murdering shower. I'm guessing if I would book earlier I wouldn't pay that much and then I wouldn't be disappointed at all but hey ho. Still pretty good room , just not for the money I payed.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The wifi worked perfectly. The staff at reception were friendly and you also had the option to buy a bus day ticket there. The hotel is located in a pleasant and quiet area of The Hague which is dominated by embassies. There are some convenience stores and restaurants to be found within a 10-minute walk of the hotel and there is a bus stop less than a minute away for frequent buses to the city centre and the train station.

The only disappointing aspect was that the double bed was in fact two beds put next to each other. The breakfast is not included so I did not try it. It is a lengthy walk to the city centre, about 30-40 minutes depending on which side of the centre you go, but there is always the bus option.

The hotel is in a super location; basically with easy access all over the city. Hotel itself is "a charming and for standards required by today's guests renovated part of the history of the area". Front desk staff is ready to help with any issue. Augustus and Braadstaal are two nearby (5 minutes walk) comfortable (Augustus) and cosy (Braadstaal) restaurants worth to have dinner there.

Lights in the room (206) might be more bright.

We had room 301 which sleeps 3 and all the beds were a good size. We were on the top floor, we had air conditioning and opening windows and fabulous views towards the city. The room was clean and I was also supplied with fresh milk for my cups of tea! The reception staff could not have been more helpful and we asked for a restaurant recommendation and the one we received was excellent for our needs. I asked questions by email which were answered. The reception team explained about the bus and tram tickets. They could not have been better. The hotel is outside the city centre, about 2 miles. A bus stops right outside. The beach is close by and the tram to it is too. We went to parkrun at Zuiderpark and that was as easy as pie to get to. The hotel is two old mansion houses in a residential area and it is clean and I found it exceptionally quiet for the amount of guests staying there - I thought I was the only one!

The pillow was not very comfortable at all. I did give it plenty of thumps but it was pretty rigid!

The location of the hotel was great, the view of the park was amazing, very calming after the long journey I had. The staff was friendly enough and the whole experience met my expectation and was very pleasant. Should I ever visit the Hague again, this hotel will be on my consideration.

I was not informed of the housekeeping time, and because my timetable was a little odd I was at the room and that time, that was a little annoying as the staff did not speak English well so it was hard to communicate.

I loved the exterior of the hotel, the location in a very peaceful neighborhood and the room - it had high ceilings and a large beatiful window. I also loved the table + the view from the room was gorgeous - I had a chance to see what it was like to live in a classic house like that, even if it was just for 2 days/nights. The breakfast was also good!

We had a back bedroom overlooking parking and bonus was the sun on that side of building. The bed was lovely and big and comfy. The hotel location was good, not too busy but walkable to coast.

We think some information about which buses to use near to the hotel, to get to the coast could be included in the info sheet in each rooms would have been good to know.

The location is superb. The tram stations are near, and you can get anywhere quickly. It is no problem to visit highlights like the beach, the museums or the city center. The staff is friendly, and the food is ok.

Floor was never completely cleaned up. My clothes always had some sand from the beach, and the staff never really 100% swept it away. Also, the shower curtains are a bit short, flooding can occur.

This is a nice hotel in the diplomatic heart of Den Haag. Very close to the bus and tram stops with great access to all the best parts of the city. The staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was excellent.

The rooms were a bit smaller than I thought they'd be but it was still a comfortable stay.

The location is great, people were nice and building pleasent and historic.

Room was on third floor with lots of corners and low ceiling spaces running at a slant. Other rooms were nice, overall liked the place but will never accept room 310 again
