Leonardo Hotel Breda City Center

Adjacent to railway station. Breakfast buffet well thought out and better than average (not the biggest, but that's not the point).

Room dim and bathroom ludicrously dim. Takes time understanding what switch does what with the distributed dim lights. At weekends at least will not offer one night stays, even if rooms free - this caused problems for me as I was supposed to be meeting someone in Breda, a meeting that had to be abandoned, as all Breda hotels seem to follow this. No room service unless requested - I have no problem with this, although this was my first chain to not offer some little incentive in return. I guess this is now the new 'normal' though?

The personnel were fantastic in helping with questions and requests. The room had blackout blinds which were great, and made it easy to get rest despite not being at home. Their roomservice was amazing, we especially loved their fries. The food was all great despite not having their chef there during our stay.

Personally we would have preferred a softer bed. It would also have been preferred if they had a section for smokers (or one for non-smokers) for their outside seating area, as we both do not smoke but sat next to people who did a few times during our stay.

The front desk staff were particularly accomodating and kind. I liked being there and felt very welcome. The location is good, next to the train station and not far from town.

The aiconditioning in my room was not working very well and it was unusually hot. I should've said something to the staff but I didn't so its not really their fault.

The location is convenient near train station and close to the center. Room were spacious and had AC that was appreciated in hot summer day and night.

I feel the property overpriced, being on the railroad and paying extra for breakfast The lobby and morning eating facilities were stuffy and hot without running ac. .

My friend and I was doing a motorcycle trip round Europe and stayed at Leonardo Hotel. The hotel has a secure under ground car park where we kept the bikes over night. I don’t remember seeing this advertised before booking the hotel but a happy bonus. Location is good and only a short walk into town for bars, restaurants and shops.

We drove on this trip, getting to hotel through Breda was fabulous, had pre booked parking, a doddle car parking was easy, hotel was fabulous then we made clients of the day!!!! Upgraded for free, free drinks, free meal totally awesome. Thank Team Breda 🙏 ✌️❤️

Nothing it was all fabulous

Great location, modern look and feel, clean, very nice personnel and very quiet. Personnel very receptive to our needs which was a very nice surprise, as we had some last minute requests we didn't expect to have arranged but they were.

Bathroom door is just a glass door that doesn't actually close in the literal and traditional sense just covers somewhat the bathroom space. It also didn't want to stay "closed" either, sliding back open every time. This seems to be part of a modern room fashion (found the same in UK and US stays) but generally annoying and pointless for us.

friendly staff, located right next to the station, good maintenance and modern furniture. Good blinding curtains.

wifi was slow. Sound isolation was not adequate for the trains driving past at night while the ventilation was mediocre. breakfast, lunch, snacks had little options for vegetarians and practically no vegan options.

Excellent location. We stayed 4 nights. Staff said to ask for linen change etc or room clean. Brochure said room would be done after 3 days so I didn't request anything but did put sign on door ... nothing happened. Miss communication there. A very pleasant stay over all though 😁

The experience overall was really good. The people working at the hotel were all so nice and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good.The location is so easy to reach.

The only downside was we had a room where no window could be opened. The airconditioning wasn't working well. So after a shower the room got very hot.
