Hotel Cataleya

Hotel Cataleya provided four nights of absolutele comfort and bliss in a superbly clean room with a spacious bathroom, free Wi-Fi, quite outside environment and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble for the employees of Hotel Cataleya; including when I needed an iron: they provided me with one! Everything was tailored towards making my stay as enjoyable as possible and I had an exceptionally good experience at Hotel Cataleya! There was always someone to greet us or send us off with a smile on reception and that made me feel very assured - there was the human touch, unlike in many hotels nowadays (where you sometimes even have an online check-in desk/reception). The lift was always in working order and the room was replenished with bathroom essentials (shower cap, shampoo, shower gel, cotton buds, etc) after each clean. I recomment a stay in this hotel for anyone wanting to explore Amsterdam, but have a restuful night at the end of each day! I am certainly going to be returning to Hotel Cataleya in I am ever back in the Netherlands - thank you so much, you have been beyong amazing!

Reluctant to book after seeing and reading the reviews, I was pleasantly surprised to hear the story behind Hotel Cataleya. A brand new hotel that got off on the wrong foot, eagerly trying to impress and change minds— with passionate staff who wish to create an incredible experience for their guests. The beds are extremely comfortable, the shower as modern and relaxing as can be and a brand new TV to top it off. The location is ideal to explore Almere, Amsterdam or any other surrounding city. You’re situated right in the center of Almere, roughly five minutes on foot from the central train and bus station. During the weekend a room at the front of the hotel might experience some noise outside, though, this is only natural seeing as the hotel is right in the city center and Almere doesn’t shy away from a party. Overall, I highly recommend a trip to Almere and Hotel Cataleya.

Excellent location, minutes away from the central train station! AMAZING & COMFY KING-SIZE BED! The bathroom exceeded my expectations as well - very modern and clean!

While I loved the bed, it unfortunately, took almost all of the room space! :D I really wish the room had more space for a desk, where you could sit properly and plan your day, even if that meant the size of the bad would be affected as well.

It was good stay. Just 5 minutes walk to almere centrum station. Intercity is well connected to Amsterdam central. It has large market in front of hotel. Staff is very friendly and cheerful always ready to help. They kept our language with them on last day.

We stayed in 101 it was very very small room and compact .Shower area was a little slippery. But overall very good stay. Thanks to there team

It's the perfect location for the bars, clubs, shops and transport being only a few meters from the bus and train station.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are quite small, though the beds are a good size. We were there when it was very hot and the rooms were stifling. It's right on the square so be prepared for street noise as the bars and clubs close.

the property was 10/10! I highly recommend this place it’s in Almere which is 22mins away with the train to Amsterdam Central. there’s a lot of of food options and places to see around the hotel! it was so clean and comfortable bed,lovely staff and safe. I really would recommend this place the value for money aswell is just 10/10!

Great location for travel to other places, bed was extremely comfortable. Staff so helpful and friendly

The only issue was just the noise of the doors and the noise from outside especially on the weekends but shutting the windows helped with that I just asked for a fan as it was weather.

Everything were great and the people that works there Its a 10/10! Helped me with everything I needed and also took care of my stuff when I coudnt do the checkout on time.

Sometimes I felt that the heater wasnt working properly and felt a bit cold inside.

The hotel staffs are very professional and polite. The hotel room is very modern and clean! Had an amazing stay. They'll help you with everything when needed.

Overall is amazing, only an airconditioner is missing. If there would be an airconditioner it will be PERFECT.
