Port Palace

Location was nice. Staff was very friendly, polite, professional and very helpful.

Only one restaurant on property with food even though the website says lobby lounge has light food and snacks. We wanted a light snack one night and went to lobby but was told only food service is from the restaurant so we went up. Our bill for 1 bottle of water, 2 sides (macaroni cheese and mashed potatoes) and a steamed fish to be shared between two people was €240, waiter did not explain properly the size of the fish we would get which was sold by weight. No appetiser, no dessert and no alcohol. Very upset about this and it definitely was not worth the money and spoiled our night.

Everything was just lovely, the location was especially good. The Restaurant was just superb, the room and bathroom was lovely. The view was just great.

Hated the Room Service Breakfast, it was cold, they need to put some care into preparing their breakfast, i.e the presentation, taste, and temperature of the food. Nobody likes cold sausages bacon or scrambled eggs. Lastly not enough hangers in the wardrobe, there were 3 in one and 2 in the other. Not suitable for two adults. I forgot to mention, the floor lamp lampshade was very tatty, it wouldn't cost much to renew a lampshade.

Location was perfect - it is right on the harbour. Valet parking at the front of the hotel was helpful after a long drive - it is €45 and returned when you request. ALL the staff we came across were helpful and pleasant. The room was spacious and well equipped. However after paying a lot I do not expect to be calling housekeeping several times to get basic items - there was no kettle to start with - and only two tea bags - then no milk - hubby wanted to watch Tour de France while I wanted a dip in the bubble bath - no internet so no tv and no bubbles working in the spa bath 👎 the tv system for the whole hotel was down. The restaurant was superb and the staff were exceptional.

The fact that I had to call for items was annoying. Shower gel was mostly empty

nothing. all was good. at the moment there is construction going on (noises during daytimes) but not before 10am and after 6pm…. times I didn’t be in hotel / sleep anyway. probably it cut the price a bit… which was still high for low season… but the location/quality is worth it

Excellent location with an easy walk to get to restaurants, the casino or just to explore the town. The room was a generous size and the beds were very comfortable including the sofa bed. Beautiful view over the boats from the room. Clean and nicely maintained, we would definitely return. If you take a car and choose not to valet park at the hotel, there is 24hour public parking super close to the hotel (Parking Ostende). If you do choose to park your own car, try to park on the green level (Level D). There are 2 separate exits on this level that you can take, don't bother taking the lift as you will have a longer walk. Take the exit on the other side of that cap parking level, it will take you out of the carpark (without stairs) right next to the front door of the hotel.

After a difficult 5 hour drive, and navigating the traffic of Monte Carlo at 5 pm amongst roadworks - we arrived at the Port Palace not at our best. The person at reception immediately picked up on this and said he would make our check in as quick and easy as could be. He then upgraded our room to a beautiful room with an amazing view. The staff were wonderful, and the hotel, and its position, were excellent. Loved walking to the Christmas markets and just relaxing.

Nothing. We loved our stay at the Port Palace and would recommend it highly. Some construction works next door - but that is what happens in Monaco.

Staff are very friendly, the room has fabulous harbour view. We requested twin beds and they were about to do so, and they are comfortable.

Unfortunately, the toilet lights was flicking and eventually went out the morning we were to checkout; plus in that morning, there were some sort of drilling/hammering noise above our room. The staff did apologise, acknowledged and took the note when we inform them during our checkout.

The staff across all areas of the hotel are delightful and welcoming. We were lucky to be upgraded to a larger room! Our room was beautiful it had a big bay window with comfortable chairs - the view was spectacular, day and night. the room had a sofa and a very comfortable King bed. The bathroom was beautiful with a huge spa bath, separate shower and Lanvin products. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was served in the Mòme restaurant - the food and service is impeccable…and the views were awesome.

Fantastic location smack on the Port Hercule, very central to everything. We loved the warm welcome, the availability of the staff and their kindness in answering all of our queries. Of course the lovely spacious suite was super pleasant to stay in after walking around Monaco's streets! Great restaurant upstairs as well, La Mome.

the parking valet fee is a bit on the high end, but definitely super useful

Huge, gorgeous rooms with Lanvin toiletries, and excellent service (reception helped us book tours, taxi, borrow an adapter etc). Great view and location overlooking the yachts in the port, easy walk to the Casino and to several great restaurants, shopping and grocery stores.

Breakfast offerings weren't exceptional considering how nice the rest of the hotel is. Also, although the location was excellent, there was construction going on right next door (not a symptom of the hotel itself, but rather of Monaco as a whole as there is a lot of construction going on). The hotel, however, offered free soft drinks from the minibar as an apology.
