Puerto Sayulita

The room was quite large and the bed was very comfortable. A king bed would have been nice however. The property was quite well maintained. The rooftop pool was very nice.

Road noise. Being in a room at the front of the hotel, it was right on the main road into Sayulita. Consequently, there was a lot of very noisy traffic, particularly the motor cycles. Around 9:00 AM, there was annoying and fairly loud music played on the speakers in the hallway. I assume it was for the working staff but there was no need for it and would be disturbing for those trying to sleep late.

No breakfast was offered, however that was no issue for us preferring to prepare our own. The main attraction for us was the semi-olimpic size and heated pool on the terrace at the top of the building with lounge chairs plus sun screens, matresses and sofas to relax or read. The presence of an elevator to take us to the terrace was a real plus for us being very advanced in age. The staff was truly exceptional attending to any of our needs and requests during our extended stay of 2 weeks. The room was ideal for us with a well-functioning and fully equiped kitchen wich we used a great deal, a great balcony for eating and reading, and an internet plus TV (plus Netflix) that presented no problems.

We would have to think hard to find any negatives about this place. Perhaps the addition of a microwave and blender would have made the kitchen absolutely complete. The hotel's location, being the mainstreet into town, may have been an issue if we had been assigned our room at the front instead of the rear. However, being a very short walk to the beach and conveniently located for all our food shopping, many eating places, cafes and laundry store ....and away from the noisy and busy center with all its nightly entertainment, made this an ideal location for us.

Large rooms. New everything. Parking below hotel. Large roof swimming pool was warm water. Well done patio on roof. Elevator works. Very clean. Oxxo is next door, bus station is next door and about 2-3 blocks to restraunts.

No onsite cafe. All glass front allows sound to transfer to rooms. Single pane glass does not cut it. Design error. Most rooms face main street.

We loved that the hotel was just outside of downtown in a quieter area. The rooftop pool was a highlight - it was warm and the perfect size for our kids. We spent time in the pool every day! Front desk were wonderful and accommodated our golf cart rental, answered all of our questions and ordered a taxi when we went to Punta de Mita for the day. Rooms were very clean, spacious and we loved having a balcony overlooking the courtyard in the back. You could hear noise outside (some noisy guests next door), but overall we would absolutely recommend this hotel to family and friends! Can't wait to visit again.

My room was clean and modern. it was a good size. The bathroom was nice and clean and the closet is located in the bathroom. I had a balcony which was nice. I also had a small kitchenette which I love having a fridge and coffee maker. The hotel is about a 5-7 min walk to the center which was nice because it is quieter at nite. staying in the center can be very loud well into the night 2-3 am. Last year I stayed at Sayulinda and the music is loud from all the bars around. as far as amenities the roof deck and pool are fabulous. I enjoyed the pool everyday in my stay.

For me there was not anything I disliked

Beautiful and large room. This is one of the cutest hotel rooms I've stayed at. The bed was huge and soooo comfortable, the bathroom was a nice size, the balcony was really nice, the kitchennette was perfect. Everything was very clean. The pool area is beautiful. I stayed in a back room so it was nice and quiet. The staff was helpful and very friendly. There's a convenient store (OXXO) right next to the hotel and two pharmacies. It's just a short walk to the main plaza and beach. Just a great place, would recommend to anyone.

Really, there wasn't anything at all I didn't like about this place (which is rare!), but my stay was just very good.

Location - easy walk to town and lots of great food before the bridge. Cleanliness - very clean property and rooms. Staff - very helpful and nice. Amenities - roof top pool and courtyard with TVs for sports was awesome for our group.

Only dislikes would be the cleaning ladies were light on the toilet paper and the rooftop pool and courtyard closed at 10. The courtyard makes sense because of sound but the rooftop would be nice if it was kept open a bit longer.

The staff was excellent. They were very hospitable. The rooftop pool is awesome especially at sunset. Very good place to stay and chill at and very close to center of town and has it's own cool neighborhood.

I liked the big and spacious room with an equipped kitchen. The roof top area and pool were perfect. I liked the distance from the central area I said for a couple nights but this would be great for a longer term stay.

I didn't like the noise from the traffic. Some of the rooms (the one I was in) face the street, so you get a lot of traffic noise. It does get quieter later at night when you're sleeping but there is always a loud one every so often. Not a deal breaker, would recommend ear plugs.

The hotel is by the main street in Sayulita, and therefore it remains very noisy (car noises) at night. A bit of a challenge for the light sleepers.
