Hotelito Los Sueños

This is an adorable, little hotel that is located north of Sayulita's town centre. Thoughtfully decorated, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, two pools, and a spacious yoga shala on the top floor (hotel guests get 50% off yoga classes). The price for a standard room cannot be beat but next time I visit, I will pay a little extra to have a room with a balcony/view.

If you're planning on working remotely from this hotel, the wifi isn't very strong.

Wonderful hotel! Booked for 5 nights and ended up arriving 4 days early as our accommodation in PVR had a cockroach issue. Hotelito Los Suenos was able to accommodate our reservation change, which was great. We had a room on the first floor which was very large and had a nice patio. The hotel is a short walk to the beach and into town, and there are a few places to eat nearby (2-3 minute walk) - one of our favorites was Taqueria Los Reyes (get the arrachera quesadilla!). The staff (and management) were very attentive and friendly. Someone was always at the front desk to answer questions and provide assistance. The beds were very comfortable. Turbo AC. Great wifi. I was happy that there was a large safe in our room as well - I typically travel with my laptop and some hotels have very small safes which don't fit laptops. There are two pools - we swam in both and enjoyed it quite a bit. We loved the buffet breakfast, although I wish the menu changed from day to day (it seemed to during our first few days, but since we spent 9 nights there, we wished for more variety in the end); however, the food was great and I loved having jamaica with my breakfast. We didn't do yoga or try any of the spa services - it was just too hot. Next time I come to Sayuita, I will definitely stay at Hotelito Los Suenos again.

During our stay a large group of about 20-30 people arrived and they were very disruptive and loud on their first night, but management handled the issue very quickly. When we indicated that we wanted to have our towels changed, we sometimes didn't get the right amount (only 2 large towels and no hand or face towels, for example), but it wasn't a big deal to me. When I booked the rooms, their website indicated they had beach umbrellas to take to the beach, but we found out that wasn't the case when we got there which was kind of a disappointment (I would have traveled with my beach shade tent if I had known; even though you can rent umbrellas and chairs in Sayulita, if you want to spend the every day at the beach, like I do, it can get kind of expensive).

The staff was super helpful and friendly, and provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities. The hotel staff also seamlessly arranged taxi transportation to and from the airport. The vibe of the hotel is very relaxing, and I liked the pools and that the hotel was very quiet, which made for excellent for sleeping. The open air layout is great for seeing and hearing birds, and the landscaping is lovely. I also liked the availability of bottled water throughout the property.

If I had to suggest an improvement it would be to modify the layout of the bathroom, if possible, to create a little more space between the fixtures (toilet, sink and shower).

They had an amazing staff and an exceptional breakfast. Everything was super clean and the location is awesome. Easy to walk to anywhere. The massages were amazing.

It was loud - from the street, the school across the street, and generally, you could hear everything in the Hotel since it is an open space. So anytime anyone cleaned, spoke, walked - I could hear every word. My room was on the first floor so it was very dark and damp.

Open and airy . The women who prepare the colorful and delicious vegetarian breakfast did a great job each and every morning . Location was perfect being set aside on a quiet street and less. rash part of town . Hotel was clean and the yoga offered every day was held in a beautiful space w excellent instructors . Appreciated the price break for yoga if you stayed on site .

The family room 107 could use some paint and I found it a bit dank . Tea was not offered early before breakfast yet coffee was . The gentleman at the receptionist area could have a acted more inspired ~ somewhat lack luster when a request made . Nothing was such that it took away from our visit ~ just a couple thoughts of possible improvements.

We are very impressed with the breakfast and the friendly "chefs" in the kitchen. Don't miss it. Loved out massage and had one 3 times during the week. Our room was cleaned beautifully. The morning staff Frank was knowledgeable and friendly. And, we had so many wonderful yoga instructors and were so impressed!! The hotel was secure and quiet too.

Well... covid was definitely around. In fact, the afternoon desk person shouldn't have been working although he said he had been tested for covid, which was negative, he still was sick and shouldn't have been working. And, we stayed for 8 days thinking all the yoga was free, but if you stay you get "free yoga" which is one class. We ended up buying a week pass anyway and it was quite worth it!

The breakfasts were great! The location is perfect. It is beyond the noise of the town, but close enough to walk to everything. The hotel is very spa-like and tranquil. Loved the 2 pools and the openness to the outdoors, birds, vegetation, etc. Gorgeous flowers! I had a wonderful massage one morning. Went to a yoga class, and was also able to use the shala for yoga practice on my own. Such a beautiful place

Not the fault of the hotel, but some guests were very loud out in the lobby. Our room was right near the reception desk, and it was very noisy sometimes late at night when folks were coming back from activities in town. Also, the concierge who was supposed to order us a taxi either forgot or the taxi driver forgot, but we had to scramble to get another in order to get to the airport on time. Again, not the fault of the hotel necessarily.

Beautiful, quiet hotel away from crowds and noise of Sayulita but just a few minutes walk to the beach, restaurants, and town center. 2 nice pools, beautiful gardens. They have yoga classes and massage services on the property. Nice vegetarian breakfast is included. The room was quiet and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Internet was a little spotty and sometimes shower ran a bit cold.

The hotel was in a good location, easy walk to the town so was quite and managed to get parking out the front easily. Was clean and well maintained, staff were friendly and had a very relaxing atmosphere. The room was large and the beds were very comfortable and had a fan and air conditioning. Was great to have a little fridge to keep drinks cool. Had a bit of a morrocon feel about it. Nice balcony area to dry clothes.Would definitely stay again.

We only stayed 2 nights and had breakfast included but only managed to go to breakfast once. We went about 10.30am they finished serving at 11.30am so thought this was plenty of time however they were starting to run low then. So would have been better if there was more of a supply of food and drinks. The food is also served to you wish is nice but if you didn't order enough you did feel like you shouldn't go back for more. However the breakfast was delicious! Our room was also on the third floor and there was no lift so had to carry surfboards and bags up two flights of stairs so would have been good to have a lift or assistance. There also wasnt a TV in the room which was unusual. The pool was also unheated but these were only tiny things.

Would definitely stay here again! Perfect location, great pools and lounge areas, amazing yoga classes, yummy vegetarian breakfast, A special thanks to lucero at the front desk! She was warm and welcoming, and went above and beyond for us. Thank you lucero!
