Solun Hotel & SPA

The location of the hotel is perfect. Few minutes from the main square and the main sights, museums, cafes and restaurants. While the location being central can be busy and noisy, the hotel is quiet and I also felt safe walking along the street towards the hotel. The room I have is spacious enough and feel homey and comfortable. Breakfast is great with the varied selection available. Staff are all nice there. :) I arrived earlier than the check in time was given a room earlier and served coffee while waiting. The guys in the breakfast restaurant are also really nice and accommodating.

It does appear though that the floor is not being cleaned / vacuumed clean at least as I notice dust/dust web... but nothing that is bothering. Also, the water in the shower does not drain fast enough that it overflows and flood the bathroom. So as much as I wanted to have a long shower, it will not be pleasant as it will flood the bathroom.

While the breakfast spread is good, catering to diverse tastes, an expansion of vegetarian options could further enhance the dining experience for non-meat-eaters. Additionally, considering the needs of travelers, having dental supplies readily available could be a thoughtful addition to the hotel's amenities.

- The room was nice, with sufficient space to store our belongings - The beds were very comfortable, I slept like a baby :) - There was a complimentary water in the room - The location is great, you can go to the city center by foot. There is a lot of restaurants in the surrounding

- The breakfast was average and the warm meal (e.g. fried eggs) was almost cold - There was some mold in the shower (not too much but there was) - The room was dark (no sunlight coming trough the window)

Excellent breakfast - huge spread with lots of fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, cheeses, etc. The location couldn’t be better, it couldn’t be more central. Staff were lovely. Rooms were comfortable enough. We paid for the parking and they drove our car off - we never saw the car park.

The ‘balcony’ looked into a void next to ugly business buildings. The room was very dark. Cleaning could be improved - the shower had a lot of mould in the grout and limescale on the handles.

The hotel is located in the heart of Skopje in the centre. The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable and breakfast is excellent and varied. The staff is generally very polite and helpful.

The cleanliness of the room can be improved, namely by vacuum cleaning properly. Although the breakfast is excellent in quality and diversity of choice, the restaurant a la carte is not good neither for food or wine.

Location of Solun Hotel & Spa is exactly near the square which was really good. Within 5 minutes walk you will be near Alexander the Great monument. Our room including bathroom were very big & spacious for 4 people. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very nice and very helpful. Dining at the restaurant is very nice and quiet with excellent food. Indoor Pool is also very nice. Will definitely visit again!

The room was very comfortable, the location is central, the beakfast is great. Unfortunately I didn't have time to get to the spa, but I have to leave something for the next time. :)

The containers for soap and shower gel in the bathroom were empty, so you had to take a small soap and a gel in a bottle, which I don't find ecological, since you have to change them with each guest. Also, the bathroom still has rather impractical separate taps for hot and cold water, instead of a combined one.

The hotel is in the centre of the city centre. Very, very kind and helpful staff

Several items of the equipment, especially in the bathroom, are in need of repair. It seems that no one is in charge of this. The towels are clean but heavily used and the white colour has turned grey-beige. The fabric of the armchair in my room was excessively worn. Some of the fabric seats in the restaurant are stained by food. The fried and poached eggs at breakfast were as if they had been cooked the day before and had been in the fridge.

Excellent Wi-Fi in my room on the 4th floor and around the hotel. And even on the balcony. Perfect! And even in the SPA - could listen to my favorite music while relaxing :) Thank you!

Great design in the room. Bathroom too - except water from shower leaking in the entire bathroom. But thanks for having enough towels - that was not a problem. :)

This hotel was an excellent choice. The staff was really friendly & helpful, and even gave us a room upgrade (grateful for that :) ). Room super elegant, bed very comfortable! Breakfast was delicious, one can choose from many different options, food was really tasty (as the food in Macedonia usually is :) ) The location couldn't be better, the immediate neighborhood was super quiet, but we were 1 min walk from the main square and everything you need was really close (walking distance). Again - excellent choice, would recommend! :)
