Mosaic Hotel

The hotel is clean and well located; in the city center but quiet.

The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything; the room I booked didn't have an en suite but a shared bathroom which wasn't stated very clearly but the bathroom facilities were nice and well kept

Great location right in the Art Nouveau neighbourhood, close to the old town. The staff were nice and friendly. The room was simple but comfortable and clean.

It wasn't so easy to find as the hotel is not right on the main street, but hidden in between other buildings in the inner block. For the same reason my room had a view over the dumpster. I didn't mind a great deal, but some people might. Moreover, the walls in my room weren't entirely sound proof - both nights I was falling asleep to the sound of another guest's snoring on one side and all sorts of bathroom noises on the other side.

Pleasantly surprised by the standard of the hotel for the budget. Located near shops and restaurants yet not noisy at all. The amenity were all that I required and actually very good at that price point. The bed and duvet were very comfortable and the property was clean to a good standard. The receptionist Julia is just a gem, so helpful and going the distance to attend to the guests. I absolutely recommend, especially if you are on a budget and only plan to be sleep and be out and about enjoying the visit during the day.

Carpet had bit of wear off in areas

Very good balance between price/quality and location. Very close to the city centre, using public transport wasn't necessary. Free parking (entrance is very narrow, so watch out if your car is bigger than medium sized). Men at reception spoke very good english and was very helpful. Room was very clean.

Breakfast wasn't very diversified. Only toast bread, one kind of ham (actually very tasty), cheese, tea, coffee, milk, cereals. Could've one kind of bread more and some vegetables. But anyway, it was altogether very tasty and for this price, you can't expect more. Another thing, temperature at room was low (19). But according to informations, it's due to law regulations. END WAR!!!!

Room was clean, pleasant and comfortable. Spacious bathroom. Free parking in a gated area. Great location in the city centre, Short walk from Riga Arena. Staff was helpful and enthusiastic.

Breakfast was a bit of a let-down, as it was not only lacking some basics, but the bread was all out at the time we dashed through the breakfast room. They did replenish it later and we did have some wonderful toast, just the first impression was "Oh. There's nothing." Getting into the parking area with a larger vehicle does require some precision driving.

Location wise good In very center of Riga beside the Czech republic Embassy and many other embassies around, restaurants and supermarkets also nearby transportation easy available

The main building which I saw on booking is not real actual hotel was back of that building but stay was good quite and comfortable, my washroom was shared but all the time it was free but private bathroom have more privacy

The beds were comfy, the staff friendly and locarion is very good

We chose the location because of the parking option. The location has 6 spots which you have to reserve in advance. The thing is you only know you got a spot after the booking is done and if you don't have a spot you cannot cancel the booking. Would we have known we could not park at the hotel, we might have chosen a different place.

We stayed in Riga for several days. The hotel is simple, without special claims, but clean and tidy. However, it is suitable for short but not longer vacations. The hotel is in a good location, close to the city center and parks. There are many cafes around, there is a place to walk in the evening. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. The number of parking places in the hotel is limited, the yard is tight, the staff sometimes have puzzles about the parking problem.

I liked the spot of the hotel, I walked everywhere by foot from the hotel.

Sadly we did not get the parking spot for the night. But the administrator showed us where we could park our car.

Good location, about 15mins walk to old city, but right in the heart of the new city. Free parking (there are 3 x spaces). Shared bathrooms were fine and never had to wait.

The seagulls! If you have window open they are relentless all night. The staff not very welcoming.
