Flexstay Inn Tokiwadai

the room was a bit tired, but everything that was needed was there and the location and price were good

the smell of smoke in the room was a bit off putting, but not really a worry

The location is good for getting into the city and the staff while they have only limited English were always polite and helpful.

While it is a budget option I would have appreciated a change of bed linen after 7 or 14 days instead of having to wash myself or pay for a change

Great stay, this was my second stay here. Highly recommended.

Some noisy neighbours.

Very affordable and big room, with lots of facilities. Location is a bit outside of Tokyo, so two trains will need to be taken, but overall a very good location. Not that noisy, and the train lines are very close and efficient so we didn't feel like it was too bad going into town.

Everything was good other than the pillows. The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable, so sleep was not the best for someone like me (who is sensitive to such), otherwise no complaints.

I have stayed multiple times at this apartment complex aka hotel. It is very basic but with a full-style Japanese kitchen and all what you need (pans, hotplate etc). Close to two train stations and many izakaya, ramen shops, and other restaurants.

Some of the rooms are a but run-down, and need some upkeep for sure. It would be great if the rooms were updated a bit, just like the other Flexstay Inns.

Excellent property and very convenient...Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Property is clean and has a fantastic old time charm. Overall, I had a great experience with the Flexstay Inn Tokiwadai.staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect for tourist that travel with kids.

It is a good accomodation for sleeping. I was exploring all day, it took only 30-45 minutes to get there from the inner districts of Tokio. It was clean and the staff was very kind, it wasn’t a problem checking in late. I had no problem at all.

Comfortable and cost effective.

Elevators have problems. Stay open for very short time.

Price.

The card I selected when I booked the hotel was not accepted by their machines. Luckily I had another card that worked out because I would have not been able to pay for it with cash. Be prepared just in case.

Small but excellent price. Excellent location near the station and Tokiwadai itself is a very pleasant neighbourhood. Very kind and helpful staff, went above and beyond and always ready to help.
