A converted bed and breakfast on the third floor of a historic building, centrally located in Siena. The staff are very responsive and helpful. As it's a bed and breakfast, you're certainly not going to get the corporate hotel experience with all of the amenities. One big perk is that they do provide a Netflix log-in on the TV, which was nice. The room was clean and the common area is beautiful. It's centrally located in Siena and around the corner from some great restaurants. The breakfast was great - we ordered boiled eggs, croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt and coffee and it was all delightful.

The elevator was a bit sketchy (it's a very old building) so prepare to carry your luggage up the three storeys.

location was great for seeing centre Siena. only 1 minute walk to Cathedral.

breakfast wasn’t until 8.45 at earliest unless you wanted to go to a public cafe downstairs. not a great selection. because of distance from station you need a taxi. I asked for one the night before and the receptionist couldn’t get one and suggested we get the bus! bus was 15 mins walk up and down hill. not possible with luggage. lady who served breakfast managed to get us a taxi earlier next morning. but that is a big problem if you are staying here with luggage. . we gave a lift to another couple who were staying and didn’t have a taxi. I suggest booking a taxi several days early.

An excellent boutique hotel. The staffs, Cristina, Sonia, Sylvia and Daniela are very cordial. The service in this hotel is 120/100. The hotel, especially the lobby, is elegant. It locates almost in the center of Siena, so if you come to Siena by car, It will be better for you to reserve a service of car valet. For breakfast, we chose continental breakfast. It's very delicious. Thank you all the staffs. Now we come back to Taiwan and began to work. We miss you. See you.

I would say that this place is really impressive. The owner and his daughter drove over a hundred miles to greet us and gave us a warm welcome. He also introduced us to the history of this charming building and Siena's folk culture. The decoration of the whole space is very classic and exquisite, with a historical charm. The room we stayed in was very elegant and the bathroom was spacious, clean and equipped with modern bathroom amenities. Hotel’s location is good, the staff are friendly . Everything is satisfactory. One thing even more touching is that the owner has prepared a birthday surprise for me, which is very considerate and I am so grateful for that. I feel so lucky to have chosen this unforgettable hotel and highly recommend it to all of you.

When we stepped inside the Residenza Borghesi, the design and comfort simply took our breath away. It was like staying in a palace with beautiful decor and elegant touches throughout. It was also immaculate. Silvia and Daniela were lovely, they made us feel completely at home and could not do enough for us, going above and beyond to help arrange excursions, book restaurants and even assisting with sending a painting that we bought back home! The breakfasts were great and we loved the fact that when we had to leave really early for trips then we had the option of breakfast in the cafe downstairs (which was also delicious). The location is very central and only a few minutes from the main square and Duomo. Our late evenings were spent in the sitting room, which was like a scene from Pride and Prejudice! A flawless stay which we plan to repeat!

This bed and breakfast fits the whole medieval atmosphere of Siena, nicely decorated and charming. The room was very comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking Siena. The woman who managed the place, Joanna, really is what made our stay wonderful. She was very kind, gave us great dinner recommendations, and solved a slight issue that came up with such professionalism that we were very impressed! Thank you Joanna! We will definitely be back.

Location of this small boutique 6 room residence was perfect. We were two minute walk to just about everything that you wanted to see or do. This place was once a family home which they have converted over to a small hotel but have retained the large family/living room off to the side of the main entrance filled with old family memorabilia, furniture and pictures and art work on the walls. Forgot to mention the view, SPECTACULAR!!!!! Could not ask for something better.

Didn’t like that the front desk was only manned from 3-7 pm felt that someone should have been there in the mornings to assist with things like taxi requests or suggestions for restaurants things of this nature .

Beautiful room with a balcony and spectacular view! Sitting out on our balcony and taking in the view was the highlight of our trip in Siena. The staff were so nice and accommodating! They arranged for a taxi to pick us up and take us to the train station after checkout. Great location, accommodations, and staff!

The only thing missing were wash cloths in the bathroom. Other than that, it was pretty perfect!

First, this place is absolutely stunning and the decor was gorgeous! Staff went truly above and beyond. Our room had a loft, and my dad loved having his own privacy and space. We love the rooftop terrace to enjoy some views. This hotel was a great location to many shops, restaurants, the church less than 5 mins away, and more. Very centrally located. Would come back!

Great location, amazing history, recently renovated and very well maintained, feels like home away from home. A roof terrace and a nicely stoked minibar to enjoy a glass of wine / fizz in living room or on the terrace. Great breakfast.

Inflexible check-in hours - not possible just to turn up within the formal reception opening hours (15:00-19:00) which adds unnecessary complexity when you want to explore the city and all it has to offer before museums shut at 17:00ish. There was plenty of wine / prosecco in the minibar (both in the room and the common area) but no potable water…
