Very close to the airport and staff arranged an 8 seater taxi to take us to the airport (cost 18 Euro). The room was nice and big with comfortable beds for our family of 3. The restaurant downstairs do good affordable food.

I haven't stayed in many hotels in Ireland but in hotels abroad there is always a staff member to help you with your luggage. This is something that would really add to their customer's experience. Our room was on the ground floor and the windows were facing the car park. As you can imagine people were arriving at all hours as is to be expected in an airport hotel so it was quite noisy during the night. Just keep this in mind if you have a room on the ground floor.

Stayed for just over 12 hours due to a cancelled flight. From what I saw of the hotel was good. The check-in staff were friendly. The hotel in itself looks a bit old but clean. Got a decent 6 or 7 hours sleep, the bed was comfortable. The hotel is close to the airport. I didn't venture outside to see the surroundings so I don't know if we were beside something interesting or not.

The hotel was a bit expensive but it is Ireland after all. I've stayed in similar hotels in different European capital cities but its expensive in Dublin.

Comfortable firm beds, which was very welcome as we have found on our travels in Ireland that many hotels have soft and small “double “ beds. It is an easy min taxi ride from airport . Restaurant and bar on premise, food ok. If you have more time and need to stretch your legs , 10 min walk to village ‘swords ‘ with a lovely pub , called “ the old schoolhouse “ definitely worth the walk.

The light from outside , parking lot was bright and the curtains were not enough to darken the room. Extra blinds would help to make the night more restful.

I liked the place in general.I have booked here on several times .First booking was good. The bed was very comfortable.

Some staffs are fine ,accomodating but some few staffs can't understand very well maybe because of the language. Just observed that we requested our room to be cleaned and we observed that the sheets were just stretched and they were not changed to fresher ones and it was smelling bad ,that was why we were frustrated.

The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. The location was very good also and had a great sleep. My first Travelodge experience and it was a very positive one.

Unfortunately there was no hair dryer in the room which was unfortunate and no shampoo just soap in the shower had I known this I'd have brought some from home. Had to pay for parking also which was just 5 euro a night. So parking isn't included in the room price but I didn't know this prior to my visit.

I liked how close it was to the airport. To hotel it was 10 euros and to airport it was 13euros by taxi. Maybe more in rush hours. We had arrived from airport. Easy walk into Swords, which was great. Just be careful on big roundabout. Lots of people doing it. The hotel itself was good. We were on ground floor and could hear the people walking up stairs above us. wasn’t a big problem. Otherwise all was good. The staff were excellent. Very helpful.

paper cups for tea or coffee. Not a fan! Didn’t use the restaurant either. Not even for breakfast. Not problem for me but not everyone likes smoked food, spices. Didn’t even see a breakfast menu. The shower! well, if one likes been blasted, it’s great. too high up and you have no control. Also can be slippery, so an older, unsteady person would not be able to use it. As I found out. No way could my sister use the shower. Climbing in to a bath and then been blasted from above? Just no way.

Nothing at all to complain about, met our needs perfectly. Not sure if you twin rooms but our rooms had a double and a single bed but it worked out ok for 2 old guys sharing a room. We weren't sure about the buses so only used the bus once to return to the hotel, as there were 4 of us we shared a taxi to get about. We missed evening meal one night the kitchen had just closed but the reception staff ordered us in a pizza. Plenty of shops close buy we walked to Lidl and bought water and fruit for our stay. Would recommend the hotel and would stay their again.

No complaints at all, just not sure which bus to catch and where to catch it. It didn't really affect our stay as 4 of us shared a taxi to get about.

The hotel had a nice clean smell to it and the room was lovely and clean. The close location to the airport is handy. The restaurant on site is nice.

We checked in late at 11.30pm and had a room on the first floor. As the property doesn't have a lift we had to carry our heavy bags upstairs. It would have been nice if a member of staff at reception offered to give us a hand doing this. The room is also expensive for its location and the basic feel of the room.

The price/value ratio exceeded my expectations, but that was partly because of a very negative experience I had with a Travelodge in Holborn, London years before (to get an idea of my original negative experience read below). This time the room was as spacious as any I stayed in, in this area. And pleasantly well maintained. Good clean towels, shampoo and soap for my needs. Staff were unfailingly kind and helpful in reception. The cleaners came to clean if I wanted them to and were friendly. I guess management of this chain learned lessons from their earlier approach when I stayed at a Travelodge about a decade before in central London. Or maybe the Irish are just more welcoming. See the paragraph below. In my earlier experience with the London Travelodge in Holborn, the place was clean and had an excellent location, but otherwise the whole culture there was very 'bare bones'. The whole place seemed to express the idea, you're in Holborn for this price, don't like it? - get over it. One measly towel and a little bar of soap in the bathroom. A flimsy curtain that would barely serve as a woman's miniskirt and did nothing to block out the light. The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful either, they did their jobs. Totally lacking in any sense of warmth or a friendly welcome. A stoic expressionless acceptance of your presence was about it. A typical example, when I asked if I could leave my suitcase just inside near the exit door to the lobby, just long enough to flag a black cab I was told flatly no, with no offer of an alternative suggestion, so it was basically - you're going outside and you've checked out - take that suitcase with you - charming.

Not anything really. I didn't take advantage of their breakfast. Although they were a little out of the town centre of Swords, I found it a pleasant walk to get to the Pavilion Shopping centre about fifteen minutes away and just beyond that was the town centre. So the initial perception of being out in the middle of nowhere was soon shown to be an illusion. If you took another route you quickly discovered that there was a Lidl where you could buy any necessary supplies and a little beyond that other places to eat or get a take away, or continue walking into the centre of Swords.

The beds were super comfortable, probably the best in the 3 hitels we stayed in. We were so close to the airport, so we just walked to the bus stop and went straight to the airport in the morning. It was a short stroll through lovely Swords to the castle, maybe a 10 minute walk. The grocery store Lidl is just a few minutes walk, so we stocked up on snacks for our day of flying.

The ventilation in the bathroom needs improvement, there was fuzzy black mold on some of the tiles. They need to spray the walls of the bathroom with bleach as well. (Room 5).
