The Inn at Dromoland

Excellent breakfast, great restaurant, world class.The property and environs are stunning, beautiful golf course, castle, great facilities for kids. Pool is a good size, accessible and well maintained and spa area very decent and spotless. Staff helpful with all enquiries. Would recommend it as a wedding venue, catering well organized and very nice ballroom and garden. Suitability for touring and business groyps is high for same reasons.

Location a bit challenging for public transit but still possible. Rooms a little small, but nice. Careful with privacy as windows are full length and at ground level, pros n cons! Evening entertainment bordered on cheesy.

spacious & well kept- grounds & proximity to Castle were a bonus- Deer on the hotel lawn at nighttime

we were told breakfast was until 10am- very early in my opinion for w’ends- also we arrived for brekkie at 9.55 on the 1st morning & felt lucky to get food as everything was removed from the buffet area by 10:15- if I had been slow eating my cereal I feel I would have missed my cooked breakfast. very rushed. great selection and great quality but needs to be a bit more flexible for people on hols & especially at w’ends. as a wedding venue 11am would be appreciated by overnight guests.

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff, and great location. Great stuff for kids mini golf, play zone, pool, cinema, and outdoor slide. The best service in any hotel we have ever stayed in, the food was excellent and really good value for money. The staff were so friendly and my baby daughter gave them loads of smiles.

A little bit noisy at times, floorboards newd to be changed under carpet as u can hear kids running up and down the collidor plus we had very noisy people above us.

Didn’t have breakfast. The eve we arrived which was quite late due to a flight delay, I had ordered some Appetizers, so when we arrived it was all served to us. It was such a lovely display of food. It was so nicely presented. The bar staff were so helpful & accommodating. It really made our experience a very happy occasion. I highly recommend The Inn At Dromoland. It is also so convenient & close To Shannon Airport. Thank you for your excellent care.

Nothing everything was BRILLIANT

Kids indoor play area was excellent, bar was lovely. Hotel is in a lovely location and overall is very clean and meets 3 stars generously.

Pool changing area needs upgrading and pool area in general could do with some updating. Signs to the kids play area need to be visible once you get outside. Staff organisation could be better at dinner in the bar as we were waiting a long time for service and there seemed to be plenty of staff around.

Love this hotel and also how well it caters to families. We have visited a few times and will be back!! Plenty to keep kids entertained. Spacious & nicely decorated rooms with comfy beds and a lovely shower. Leisure centre is warm and has a good standard of amenities. Good location for day trips to Bunratty,Clare, Limerick etc.

Quality of hot breakfast items could be improved. Great staff but very slow service in bar. Menu selection could be much improved. Average offering not comparable with price. Free play x1 for kids no longer in operation for residents in Play Inn, I feel this should be included at all times for residents!

Our family just had the most amazing weekend staying at The Inn at Dromoland. The staff are honestly the nicest most helpful people we've ever met, they couldn't do enough for us. Our family room was so spacious & was spotless clean & we were greeted with a fruit bowl & birthday plate for my partner which was a lovely touch. The food & service in the bar was amazing again the staff were so attentive & couldn't do enough to make sure we had everything we needed. The pool was lovely & warm. The play facilities are very good they kept our 3 children entertained for a few hours. All in all this will not be our last visit to The Inn at Dromoland. Thank you for a lovely relaxing weekend👏🏼❤

I loved the staff in this hotel .very nice to us and made us feel welcome and helped us with any queries. The young kids had a brilliant time and wanted to stay longer. Rooms where cleaned every day was very happy . We will be back

Only thing I noticed was so areas where a bit run down or needed a bit of tlc and maybe a paint job here and there

This hotel is ideal for families with young children. It has a swimming pool and also an indoor play area which is ideal if the weather isn't great. Playground and mini golf also outside. The bathrooms in the room also looked newly refurbished and were beautiful. There is a lovely walk around the grounds and Dromoland Castle is around the corner. I loved that we were still only a drive away from Ennis Town and not too far to explore all that county Clare has to offer... The cliffs the Burren lahinch etc.

If I was to be picky the carpets in the room by the window area could do with a freshen up but for the facilities that were available for young children we just overlooked it.

lovely comfortable warm friendly feeling hotel. staff very friendly and helpful. lots of cozy areas to chill out and relax. The gastro pub was really cozy and great family environment. food was really yummy, even my very fussy kids loved it. nice big family rooms. it’s such a huge difference for families of 5 not having to get 2 separate rooms. fantastic showers, nice and big, I was able to put all 3 children in a hot shower after a swim. kids loved the play area, outside park and swimming pool

definitely in need of a refurb in the very near future. carpets quite worn and dull as with sofas and lounge chairs. room had a strong damp smell. my 4yo had a mould allergy and her skin started to flare on day 2, we managed to control with antihistamines, but definite mould sports in the air. it certainly didn’t ruin our trip as given the location on the west coast it’s not surprising there would be some damp.
