Greenhills Hotel Limerick

food was fabulous and leisure Centre was nice. Rooms were beautiful, even had Netflix in the room. Fab light up mirror in the bathroom for doing make up

was sad there was no bath and the girl that was doing check in was not friendly. She went talking with another staff member that wanted to book in while I was in the middle of checking in. She just stopped doing what she was doing and started a big chat with her. Didn’t tell me where anything was eg the restaurant or leisure Centre. I

Nice clean room had everything we needed (I especially loved having an iron and ironing board in the room). The leisure club was nice (the lockers need some attention). The bar was nice if a little dated. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The shower in the room was more like being hosed down than showered. The leisure club lockers need some new doors and locks. The bar/restaurant was a bit dated and did get noisy at times even though not busy, which I thought was down to a lack of carpet in the area.

Easy to access location, spacious room with tea, coffee and bottled water available in the room. The swimming pool, which is open to residents, was great, not too busy and clean. The food in the bar restaurant was good, especially the curry which was amazing. The bed was a king size and very comfortable. Overall a very good experience. I have had to stay in Limerick for work several times in the last month or so. This is the 3rd hotel I have used and easily the best. I would definitely use again and recommend to others

Although the food was great service was a little slow when it came to bringing the menu and taking my order, however the staff were friendly and down to earth so I'll forgive them that

The room and bed were very comfortable. The shower was amazing! Wide screen TV with lots of channels. Spotless room. Beautiful shower products. Wonderful Christmas decorations in reception. Friendly staff. Delicious food from the restaurant. Extensive bar options. The breakfast was a highpoint of the trip. What a choice and so delicious!

I thought that there might have been live music on in the bar. It didn't really deter from my stay.

The pool, hot tub, sauna and gym were all lovely, available until quite late and included with the room fee! The hotel bar had delicious food and the staff was very friendly. Room was very bright and spacious.

Location is a bit far from city centre (20 min bus) and there are not a lot of other food options in the immediate vicinity other than the hotel options(which were yummy). However location is good if you’re hoping to visit some of the nearby sites like Bunratty or want a direct bus to Shannon airport.

We had a 2-night stay at this hotel and checked by a friendly receptionist at the arranged check-in time. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Limerick within a few minutes’ drive to a lot of the main routes giving easy access around Ireland. The hotel has a largeish car park which sometimes seems to fill up when there were events taking place on the site. There is a restaurant/bar within the hotel serving excellent meals with very efficient friendly staff serving with plenty of choice on the menu where we enjoyed our evening meals on both nights of our stay. During our stay we had a daytrip walking into the city centre taking us around 45 minutes as the weather was so lovely and catching the local bus back following tiring ourselves out walking around the city centre. We enjoyed a good breakfast each morning during our stay served in an area of the restaurant/bar where we had our evening meals.

Our ground floor room was comfortable but not that well soundproofed well sound proofed against internal sounds.

Room was of great size and cleanliness, the staff were friendly and accommodating. Parking was plentiful, everywhere we visited in the hotel was clean and tidy. The ladies who served breakfast on Monday morning were such a pleasure to be around, their bright, sunny disposition is exactly what you need in the morning.

Service in the restaurant on Saturday and Sunday nights was not great. We were waiting a while to be served, as we had to flag down servers ourselves.

Room was hotter than a pizza oven when we arrived. Reception arranged for hotel handyman to fix broken radiator within 30mins and he even put a fan in the room to help get it below 25deg c. Things sometimes go wrong and it’s how they’re dealt with that matter to me. This hotel dealt with it brilliantly 👍 Room good size, spotlessly clean, parking brilliant. Food in restaurant was superb (had roast beef). Just a really nice place to stay, far enough outside of the city centre to avoid the noise but close enough to easily get in.

Radiator could have been working / not set to oven temperature to start. No minibar.

Recently stayed in Greenhills hotel , we were so happy with our stay . The food staff were exceptional . Waiter didn’t have the wine we wanted for dinner so gave us the more expensive one at the same price , he also noticed my daughters iPad battery was low so offered to charge it for her whilst she was eating .They all make conversation and super friendly. Room was comfortable and spotless clean . There is fresh flowers throughout the whole hotel .My daughter loved the pond and garden out the back and the kiddies pool. Will be returning on our next trip to limerick . Can’t recommend enough !!
