Amarea Resort Ubud by Ini Vie Hospitality

Small boutique hotel with friendly excellent service. Cool amenities (an Alexa in the room!). Everything is clean. They provided a functioning common kitchen with large dining table. Internet works flawlessly. Huge bathtub. Hot water works everytime.

Location might be a bit daunting if you don't ride a motorcycle/have a car. Street is also quite dark, although I can assure you it is safe because I used to live in that very street a few years ago.

The resort was amazing. The restaurant was really nice. The staff were really good and attentive. The room, bathroom and pool was very nice.

The location seems quite close to Ubud centre however it’s quite deceiving as we were a good 25/30 minutes away. But taxis were accessible so was too bad. Couldn’t get much use out of the pool as the water turned green because of the flower pool I had arranged. Used the resort pool and it ruined our swimwear as they got covered in algae. They offered a complementary wash for the clothes but it didn’t come off but other than that everything else was really good. The pools just need more regular cleaning and maintenance.

lovely staff. always welcoming on arrival or when leaving for the day. beautiful building and good facilities offered like Netflix, pool, massages. felt tropical and cultural. the staff definitely make up part of the experience and service felt very intimate!

they were doing building on the roof or next door to us. made noises through the night and lots of banging through the day. this is obviously temporary and something that needs to be done. would maybe just suggest blocking off the rooms close to the construction as it did cause a bit of disturbance and interrupted sleep. we did not mention this however so didn’t give them a chance to offer moving rooms or anything, basically just put up with it cause didn’t want to be difficult :)

The property is new with beautiful and eco friendly design so that we love it and the staff also are very friendly.

Even if the location is not close to Ubud and you need a car or a scooter for us was perfect to be a little far away from the traffic. The staff is great and super friendly. We've call them two times to help us get rid of a big gecko that we had in our room. We've had all their offers. Enjoyed a nice flower bathtub, a floating breakfast and not the least an amazing massage.

It's not their fault but we had some experiences with geckos in our cottage but this is normal in Bali.

our pato door didn’t fully close so we were conscious about insects coming into our room. lack of storage to hang or store our clothes and belongings, we had to keep a lot of items in our suitcases but think we would of struggled if our stay was longer than 3 nights.

Amazing hotel with a fantastic room (just as in the pictures) and lovely staff! Beautiful pool area and despite having other guests it felt like we had the place to ourselves most of the time

Not a problem but worth noting that the location is a little bit outside of the busy area of Ubud. We walked in and out most of the time (takes about 20ish minutes) however bike taxis are extremely easy and cost about £0.50

Nice hotel in a close location to the centre but at the same time distanced from it. Code and quiet we loved the restaurant and the pool.

Guest rooms (not cottages) are a little too small.
