Lili Cottage Ubud

We really liked the privacy we had, being on level 1 nobody was crossing in front of our room. The room was really nice, having a nice terrace and a separate space to chill The location is perfect, in one of the busiest parts of Ubud, but still super quiet because it’s located on an alley.

Even though we had a kitchen, it didn’t have any utensils, no plates/forks/knives. So it makes it useless if you don’t stay long term and buy them yourself. You have to say what you want for breakfast one day ahead, and at what time you want it to be served. If you don’t do that, you will not receive any breakfast. This happened to us 3 days in a row, when arrived late at night and didn’t have the chance to order the breakfast.

The place is very beautiful, spacious, and affordable. Location is also good, convenient enough to walk to eating places, yoga, massage, etc. Staffs are also helpful. It would be more helpful if WiFi connection could be improved. But we were very happy with our trip because we took this chance to stay away from Netflix and social media. It is not be helpful when we need to do some work that requires internet connection though. The pillows are yellowish and bed sheets are with stains, but despite all those we slept like babies because the place is peaceful and comfortable.

The place and garden are lovely. The rooms are enormous and comfortable. The Location is central but at the same time quite close to a lot of restaurants and shops. The staff was super friendly. It seemed like a family running a business. We felt at home. 100% recommended for extended stays (Be realistic you are paying for what you get, don't expect a luxury stay)

The internet could have been better. The breakfast is effortless, and only like three options. The pool didn't feel relatively clean. If you are renting because it has a Kitchen, they don't provide any tools in the kitchen, so it is useless (That's why we actually stayed here at first, but we liked it afterward)

This is the third time I stay at Lili House. This time is with my partner and before it was solo. Everytime is a wonderful experience ! This place became home and the staff became friends. Very well located in a quiet place, the little road off the main busy Ubud road, make your stay relaxing with good restorative nights while being close to everything (Suka espresso, Yoga Barn, Monkey forest, shopping, Titi Batu) The Deluxe room is really spacious, with a kitchen, bathroom and balcony where you can sit to enjoy the view on the garden. There is a pool you can enjoy which is a must during hot days. The staff is very carrying, cleaning our room every single day, taking care of our personal laundry and cooking breakfast (try the delicious veggie omelette from Made, he is very good at cooking and helping you with every thing you need). They also have this sweet attention for our anniversary with flowers on the bed, when we were off to Gili for a couple of days. If you need any assistance with organizing tours, drop off to airport, rental bike, you can ask them. The manager Juli is very helpful, reactive and the prices are more than fare! We definetely recommend this place ! I will come back for sure

I cannot explain how the staff was! Balinese people are always kind but Lili Staff is extra! I always could easily communicate with them and they are so kind for every of my request. They took care of the room so good and clean the pool constantly. I'll definitely stay in Lili again!

Wifi, especially in prime times - so western timezones - are so bad, have to use mobile hotspots.

Great location, good value for money, has a kitchen environment. The staff is always available and attentive.

It has a kitchen environment, but it does not have accessories to be used in the kitchen, such as pots and other utensils. The shower mostly, instead of running water underneath, was leaking from the sides.

hmm, i think the breakfast section. You should have a more variety of choices.

Tucked away and quiet yet very close to the centre, good value. We have been frequent visitors for years now. Good aircon and a pool, too.

A Bathroom could do with a deep clean and the towels should have been replaced years ago.

The room is clean and tidy, with breakfast included. Overall, it is very good value. During the stay, I also met the long-term tenant David. David is a very enthusiastic, interesting and friendly person. I will still choose to stay here next time I come to Ubud

I would have liked more tea or coffee available at breakfast. I just got a small cup and I’m English do I drink a lot!!
