We ended up staying 2 nights. The first room we had was very clean and we enjoyed the large room with comfortable bed. Very nice buffet breakfast and central location in Medan.
The second room we had was not as clean and there was a lot of black hair on the bathroom floor and we found one under the bed linen. The rooms was not soundproof as advertised. You can hear your neighbours speak and the noise from the street with karaoke and traffic.

Rooms are nice and comfortable. Breakfast was great despite covid limitations.
Rooms on 12th floor received smell of cigarettes smoked on the floors below. So if you are bothered by that, stay on the lower floors or double check with reception wether it is solved already. Also there was a gathering/party at the top floor dining hall during our stay which played loud music late into the evening. After asking the hotel staff to resolve that it still took over an hour because they were not able to handle the situation. Management was professional next day and apologized. Hope the staff received the proper training so this won't be an issue again.
