The Stones - Legian, Bali - A Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel

Everything from the wonderful staff, to the beautiful room and pool. Absolutely amazing and the food was incredible. Every morning breakfast was something to really look forward to and we would like to make a special mention to the Executive Chief Danny who made us feel so welcome and took time out of his day to make sure we were enjoying not only the food but our time at The Stones as well. We have been made to feel extremely special and are so grateful for having experienced our honeymoon here at The Stones.

It’s not adults only so you had annoying little crutch goblins splashing you in the pool 🤣 & I feel breakfast should be included in the price

The staff! They would have to be the most friendly, accommodating and helpful staff we have ever encountered on any of our trips to the beautiful island. Location was fantastic, pool and the general vibe was amazing.6 hour happy hour was just the icing on the cake 👌

Not necessarily a dislike, but…as a recently diagnosed coeliac I was nervous, while they were accommodating with making sure I could have pancakes (epi the chef) was amazing, there were very limited options for dining, not a huge deal and I don’t specifically want special treatment just options other than a salad, bread and pancakes would of been lovely 😊

it was just on the second day , when i had breakfast , there was a cockroach on the food in the counter when i was about to take the food. So i asked one of the cheff to take care of it. But she what she did she grab the cockroach but leave the food. it was all over the food before. What i know about cockroach is that if there is 1 cockroach it means that there should be more somewhere around the kitchen. So my suggestion is please do the inspection of the insects in the dinning room and kitchen. This hotel is 5 star . this shouldn’t be an issue . Thank you.

I enjoyed my stay at The Stones, the location is great! Breakfast was good (coffee was lovely) and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I loved the tub on my balcony! Location is excellent and in a safe area across the road from the beach and short stroll to Beachwalk Mall. Dinner was good in fact the steak I had twice because it was excellent. We had a large earthquake during my stay and the building felt fairly safe even on the top floor. Bed and pillows were comfy.

My room felt a bit dated and my sliding door didn't completely seal so I could hear the restaurant and people down at the pool etc. Also the ocean wind whistled through it so it was a bit annoying. The hallway carpet looked like it needed a good clean but the scent they used in the corridors was nice. Room service was just average unfortunately. I probably would stay again after they do a refurbishment.

The rooms were super clean and modern, the pool area was fabulous - huge, with lots of loungers and space - and the staff were all incredible! I also really liked the toiletries provided - lots of them and they smelled AMAZING!

Stones Restaurant could do with a menu revamp - it was very basic, and then the food itself was average. Def better choices out in Kuta. Also, we booked a room with a plunge pool and probably won't again, we didn't use it - it was really cold, and by the time you got out of the heat into your room to use the pool (room had AC, obviously) the plunge pool was too cold to use. It would have been great if there was a walkway from the main pool area to your plunge pool, so you didnt cool off too much before using it, but I get its a privacy thing.

Everything was great. Breakfast was nice with lots of choice, the restaurant’s staffs were so attentive and NICE no cap. The hotel staff welcomed us warmly and helpful. Can ask for two access card for convenience. Housekeeping fast when called.

Sometimes it’s inaudible when the staff talked trough the phone. I ordered grabfood (already paid) and they called informing the arrival but then it’s inaudible. I thought the hotel can help deliver it to my room or at least allow the rider to deliver it. I waited till late and they didn’t follow up why the food not claim yet and I was just too tired and sick that time. Didn’t even ask about it the morning after 😂 A staff asked bout my burnt skin during breakfast and it was just too awkward and uncomfortable. She was nice tho, only that part need to be fixed :)

Breakfast was awesome as always. So much to choose from. Staff are always friendly and ready to remove any used dishes nearly instantly. Rooms are a good size and refreshed everyday, if we needed anything staff would comply. Pool is huge with room for all guests. Happy hour 12 - 6pm cocktails are delicious and cold. The kids especially enjoyed the hot fries by the pool.

We had to change rooms after 2 days as our air con didn't work very well, which meant we had to move away from the second room our children were in. The second room air con was much better.

Pool and rooms were lovely location to beach and shopping mall fantastic Happy hour from 12-6pm made drinking affordable . Drinks package gave you extra credit however if you don’t spend it all it’s non refundable

Lots of facilities closed and not reopened since covid only one pool not the 3 as advertised . Without happy hour drink prices very expensive . Also once your drinks package run out staff very harassing for payment and you can’t just top account up and having running tab as non refundable

The staff were amazing, our balcony pool view room was beautiful, and the location is right across from Legian Beach. Fire dances every Wednesday night, live music around the pool most nights, and breakfast was great.

Not many facilities for kids around the pool (obvs our fault for not researching), although the staff handed out fruit sticks, which was great! We also noticed our room fogged up if we didn't have our doors shut and someone was in the shower (just a tip, lol). Other than that, it's a beautiful hotel for adults.
