Good hotel close to the Deli train station & M2 metro line: - there's also a mall nearby & everyday fast food venues - if you came late from Sziget Festival you can arrive by foot at the hotel from the Batthyány Square, it's a 25 mins trip if you still feel your legs after dancing all night - has private parking, one outside in the back of the hotel and also a garrage - clean room & comfy bed

Walls & windows are soundproof but can't protect you enough of drunk neighbours singing football anthems nextdoor

I liked everything! The location is perfect, right near the castle in boda, and 1 min walk to the metro that takes you to the city center and everything, theres a big supermarket, tabacoo shop and Drug store just underneath the hotel. The stuff was very nice and the bar and restaurant as well. Over all i loved it Location is great, price is great and it was just perfect. The beds were also the comfiest ever, i had the best soft deep sleep after all the traveling.

Fantastic breakfast, just what I needed for the drive towards Frankfurt. Amazing restaurant and bar, just what we needed after the long drive from Plovdiv, in fact it was like a life-saving oasis to us!

I was pleased overall with the room but somewhat shocked to discover a single black sock under the bed- which wasn't mine and definitely not my partner's! However, it would be somewhat churlish to complain too vociferously about it as it in no way detracted from what was a hugely enjoyable stay in a great hotel and a beautiful city that we hope to visit again!

Rooms were nice and comfy. Staff was really helpful and attentive (thank you!) Location is close to Buda castle and also Metro/Tram-station that you can use to reach pretty much all the attractions. Breakfast was very good. You had a lot of options to choose from, so even the most pretentious ones could find something to eat. Also the restaurant (in the evening) has quite the options to choose from and the prices are kind of similar to what you could get in the city at a normal restaurant.

We booked a room with kitchen and there weren't any accessories in the room, however once mentioned to the front-desk, this was quickly remediated. So I can't really consider this an issue.

Great service and helpful staff! Underground parking garage with security cameras (if it's important for you to leave your car there, try to come during the week. On the weekend it was full). Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Restaurant inside of the facility. The hotel is well located, close to Fishermen's Bastion and some good restaurants.

Rooms are not that quiet, there was plenty of noise from the corridor.

The room was very comfortable. The proximity to the underground station was quite an advantage. Shops were near the hotel as well. The parking was quite enough for those coming by car. The view was not as interesting as we expected, but we could see Matthias church at least. There was a nearby park were you could have enjoyed some fresh air.

The drapes were a bit dirty, but that did not make our stay less pleasant.

I chose this hotel, because I had an early train from the Déli railway station. The station is some 5 minutes walk from the hotel, as is the metro stop. The trip from the airport takes about 1 hour (bus + metro). There is a supermarket Prima very close to the hotel and some kiosks at the railway station. The Buda castle can be reached in 10-15 minutes walk, the centre of the city is 4 metro stops. The Ibis hotel occupies the first three floors of a higher building (Mercure is above, on the higher floors). The rooms are standard Ibis rooms, so you know what to expect. I had a room on the third floor, with a nice view of the castle hill. All was fine, I had not complaints. Wifi also worked well. I did not take breakfast at the hotel. The staff at the reception, all young people, were very nice and helpful.

Noisy neighbors can be a problem but nothing unbearable.

i liked the location and also the fact that at the ground floor you have restaurants and a bar where you can relax. Also, there is a small shopping area that i think is very nice

The bath shower support was not functioning. The shower could not be kept in a proper position to shower and i had to hold it myself. Also, when i tried to put my towel in one of the hooks in the bathroom, the hook just fell from the wall. There are things that just have to work.

Very nice staff, cozy atmosphere at the restaurant, we were happy to listen to a gentleman playing the piano at the bar area -it was a big plus ❤️ and great food. Clean room, good location. Overall it was very nice, i would recomand it.

Unpleasant smell at the bathroom, if you let the door open, then you could feel the smell in the room as well. The hotel had parking lot, but we had to pay extra fee for it! Not sure if this is a commun practice in your country, but usually it is offered for free..

The location was great, a short walk to the Fishermans Bastion, and very close to Deli station for links to Balaton and the Metro. The breakfast was amazing, such a range of options and the decor and style was very cool.

The only real fault was the air con in the room, which just didnt do much, the foyer was a lovely cool temp but the room was roasting meaning sleep wasnt great, which is the main reason for staying at a hotel. That was rather disappointing, we did ask for it to be checked but nothing improved!
