Good Hotel Antigua

i loved my stay at the Good Hotel and would recommend it to anyone. Prior to our stay in Antigua I considered a range of accommodation, however settled for Good Hotel due to its sustainable focus. So when I arrived I was so happy to know that this sustainable and kind-hearted focus is evident throughout property and it’s staff. The staff were by far a stand out - always so happy and willing to help, whilst the restaurant was a close second - serving a wide variety of food and drinks throughout the day.

the only issue with this property is it was relatively noisy at night, as you could hear other guests. i am a heavy sleeper so it did not impact me too much, however I know this may be an issue for some.

we had many doubts before going , because of the reviews we read, we have to say that we completely loved this place. The staff, the food, the simple but comfy and clean rooms , the close it was to the beach, the swimming pool…

There was a lot of seaweed , but there was nothing the hotel could’ve done to improve it , cause is a nature phenomenon. Even though we couldn’t swim in the ocean, we could lay down on the sun beds in the sand and it was so close to the swimming pool, that we could refresh there. Sometimes the sun beds near Fuego swimming pool, we’re fully occupied from very early on… but somehow we always manage to find a space either there or near the beach.

Good Hotel is a beautiful hotel, both in its industrial design as well as in its "soul" - as the benefits go to underprivileged local families. I was very touched reading the story behind the hotel. While I fell sick during my stay at the hotel, i could not have wished for a better and more comfortable place to recover. I just told my worries to the worry-doles, and let the place do its magic 😉. It worked!

Very nice hotel, open space and very modern. The staff was extraordinary, they helped us a lot because our lagguage didnt arrived with us and they helped me call the airline and airport many times to finally get it 2 days later. They also helped organize a shuttle and a trip to the vulcano (Soy Tours!!). For the trip we could store our bags for more than 24h. The rooms were very clean and beautiful decorated, mattress and sheets very comfortable. No breakfast included but there is a nice cafe right next door with an own access from the hotel, they serve delicious food but a little bit pricey. We didnt hear any noise from the street but walls are thin like any where in Guatemala so noises depend on your neighbors. Reception is 24h and you can get coffee or drinks. They also support a local project for children to go to school!

I loved how clean and serene the rooms were. The place was a dream for the price and don’t get me started on the gorgeous well maintained garden, what a view! I also loved her amiable and attentive the staff were. My room was cleaned just as quickly as and I didn’t lack anything. The restaurant was also an added plus for those that didn’t want to travel too far for food.

The restaurant didn’t have much Guatemalan food. I didn’t travel to Guatemala to eat burgers and crepes lol I can always have those back at the U.S.

Gorgeous hotel, great service, inspiring social mission, beautiful gardens inside hotel, clean rooms with modern design, reusable bottles of bath products to prevent waste, ideal location in Antigua on a quiet street a few blocks from the central park.... truly an excellent hotel. Saúl restaurant next door was top notch, with excellent service, outdoor seating, and a broad menu of choices.

Everything was great! Our room had an outdoor shower inside the private balcony which was a fun touch but the water took a while to heat up so I opted for the indoor one instead, but this was super minor. I mean, our room had two beautiful and clean showers!

The hotel is beautiful and modern and noticeable very clean. I love that staying here goes towards a humanitarian cause. There was a picture of one of the children attending the school in my room. Deluxe suite was AMAZING! Staff were always very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was very convenient and had great food options.

I honestly can’t think of any cons. Everything was perfect and clean.

Very comfortable and beautiful boutique hotel. The common areas and the rooms were restored with a great sense of style. Everything was well thought out, very clean and kept in a perfect condition. It had some nice details, like the filter coffee in the room, or the well chosen, premium bath products. They also have interesting ways to work with local businesses and people to create positive impact.

I loved the facility as the plants gave the most calming and relaxing vibe. The staff was very nice and accommodating as I was a last minute booking. The bathroom was super nice and I loved how they came in daily to clean. The bed was comfortable and a nice size. The restaurant that was adjacent was also a plus! Super great location and it was super quiet at night. I also love their mission to sponsor/help a disadvantaged child with each "good nights sleep"

The lighting in the room could have been better as it was very dark at night.

Like all of antigua, the rooms can be a bit noisy for light sleepers. With the open architecture, people pass by your room on the way to theirs and can be loud. I could hear my neighbors through the walls and the music from the restaurant (although only lightly).
