The Monarch Hotel

The hotel was lovely and clean. The pool area was very nice. The staff put up a tippee for the children to play in and provided us with a diaper bin and a changing mat. I celebrated my birthday while I was there and I hadn't told them. My date of birth was in my booking and on departing, they gave me a birthday card and chocolates. The breakfast was also very, very good. Oh, there was also a clothes line in the bathroom which was really beneficial for us as a family of 4 who went swimming every few hours

They charged for the garage, but didn't explicitly say so. I would have expected that to be free, given that it belongs to the hotel. 11 Euro per day isn't particularly cheap either. The sauna only opened at 3pm every day due to energy saving. But for a hotel of that size, I'd doubt it makes a bit difference. I couldn't go for that reason.

The landscape and the grounds of the Monarch were wonderful! The pools were so inviting and felt great to swim after our 60 mile day of bicycle riding.

What I didn’t like was all the smoking of cigarettes on the patio by the outside pool! It took away being able to enjoy the great evening and we didn’t want to sit out there because of all the smoke,

I can definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a relaxed, old-fashioned hide away with friends, family or company.

It you're a wellness geek, you might sleep here and enjoy the vast variety of saunas at Limes Therme.

Very family friendly, was for one night with my 3 Kids Breakfast was good and a large variety. I loved that they had fresh vegetables and different types of milk.

They had warm coffee at every table and I wish they have had water aswell. Kids don't manage well to carry a Glas of water across the dinning room. Giving that is summer we usually drink two or more glass of water at meal times.

The pool was good

They said in restaurant that for dinner buffet is everything included also the drinks, but at the end they asked for drinks costs separately?! We got a higher bill than we expected!

Great family room with separate room and 2 real beds for the kids. Indoor and outdoor pool. Nice food and breakfast.

Parking is separate, 11 euro per day.

Very clean, in a charming village, great pool areas in and outside 👍

Some areas have dated interior.

Very nice hotel with spacious room! We got an extra bed and baby bed for our kids. Very good value!
