H+ Hotel Köln Hürth

Wow! Such good value! A very last minute booking after a day at Phantasia Land and a very pleasant surprise. It was clean, perfectly located and easy to find; the staff were incredibly helpful and spoke multiple languages as well. We had a family suite (which even had a separate bedroom with a door Rather than all the beds in the same room) so we could use the underground parking. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was filling and delicious (included!). I will definitely look out for this chain in the future.

The basic “comfort” room didn’t have a kettle or coffee machine, but that was minor - but we had two rooms and the family suite had both, as well as a fridge.

The air conditioning could .not be used The room didn't have Wifi coverage The nightshift receptionist was not empathetic to our wifi coverage and air conditioning He indicated that if the room is hot, open the window, and in terms of the wifi signal coverage in our room (room 250), he said that the hotel is full and he can't help us!!! Anyone with a bit of IT knowledge will understand the difference between network coverage and network speed. The next morning, the reception desk was able to identify the issue, and they moved us to another room

The room was clean and a good size. The pillows were super comfy! All the staff around the hotel were polite and friendly which really made us feel welcomed. Breakfast was delicious with an amazing choice of food. I liked the long breakfast times it meant we didn't feel rushed to get in and out. I would definitely recommend this place.

This was my bad as it wasn't as close to Cologne as I was hoping. But a short walk to the tram stop and a little ride on the tram and we were soon there.

Location was very convenient if you are planning to visit Phantasialand as it is in very cloae proximity..Rooms are generally large and spacious and the morning breakfast is just reasonable. Overall good value for money.

Upon check in the bathroom was a bit smelly. This was probably because of poor ventillatiion in the bathroom as there was no window but only a small exhaust. Ones the exhaust was turned on, the bad smell disappeared. The carpets could also use some cleaning.

The Hotel is easy to find with ample parking. Check In went fast and was not complicated. The room was spacious and clean. A big plus was the lovely gift waiting for our dog. Housekeeping had also put a dog bed and feeding bowls in the room for her. Pet-friendly deluxe!!! Thank you very much. Breakfast was plentiful and more than enough for a hungry guest in the mornings, the restaurant staff were extremely polite and it was great to see that there were enough staff working to cope with the demand in the restaurant. The lobby was welcoming and always smelled fresh.

The carpets were in need of cleaning especially in the corridors.

For us the location was great as a central base to visit the area and the women enjoyed the shopping center right at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was great, a good variation. Easy to park.

There is no kettle or coffee making facilities in the room! We knew that before we went but I do like my coffee. Also the shower tray was not cleaned very well while we were there. But I would stay there again if we are in the area.

Ideal location for overnight stop en route to Austria.Close to a number of motorways and easy access. Clean, comfortable hotel and friendly staff. Ample free parking in hotel grounds. Good food in restaurant albeit limited menu but OK for short stay.

Unfortunately our room (118) was directly over the smokers area in garden. Normally this would not be a problem but we were awoken at 2am by a group of noisy revellers returning to the hotel and then insisting on smoking directly below us at the same time noisily talking laughing and joking until almost 3am. So avoid any rooms in that part of the hotel.

Spacious room, comfortable beds, great breakfast selection. We did a last minute booking and arrived at midnight, and the reception had everything prepared, made the sofa bed up for our child, and was just very pleasant.

The sauna is only open after 1700. For people who eat dinner at 1900 and get ready for dinner at 1800, this only leaves one hour a day to use the sauna.

Good location for shopping. Parking free. Staff were freindly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast choices and coffee are great. Had dinner in the Restaurant one night and the waiter went out of his way to accommodate my food choices.

My TV had a small screen made it difficult to read the sub-title. "It's my advanced age" But altogether a comfy view from bed and chair. There was no coffee making facility provided in the room.

Hotel and room appeared to have been recently freshly decorated...nice bright feel. Comfortable room, comfortable bed. Quiet. Breakfast perfect!

Previous guest(s) had smoked in the room...could have been de-odourised, but not a big deal. No kettle for tea or coffee...again not a big deal as this pushed you down to the restaurant where the staff were delightful and the tea and coffee excellent
