Ruby Coco Hotel Dusseldorf

Great location. Quiet stay. Clean. Friendly staff.

Rooms were a bit cozy. Breakfast was good a little on the minimal side but didn't go hungry. Staff worked incredible hard makingng sure tables were cleaned and food was restocked. A little difficult to actually find the hotel. We saw plenty of signs but no directions to actually get there.

Stylish, clean, modern hotel, central location. Cozy cafe bar with indoor and outdoor seating. The hotel has a very pleasant smell, the room has two types of shower gel with a pleasant aroma, shampoo and conditioner.

The only thing I didn't like was the very slow service in the cafe. I waited 20 minutes near the bar with 4 staff, only one of whom was apparently busy. In response to my remark, a young guy with dark hair and glasses said that I shouldn’t order drinks if I’m in a hurry. In my opinion, it is absolutely unacceptable to treat guests this way.

The check-in went smoothly. We exchanged our cleaning service for a free drink (a nice eco-friendly option) and the person working behind the bar, Samwei (I really hope I'm spelling their name right), made us a really nice drink. The location was also optimal as it was right off the Konigsallee, which is a shopping street close to the Altstadt. The parking option close by was great and our overall experience was amazing. It was really nice to be able to go back to the hotel to rest in between shopping and dinner. The room was cozy and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room was not big but definitely big enough to suit the needs of two travelers. In case you are worried about the bathroom privacy, you can always close the curtain in between the bed and the shower and go to the bathroom next to the lobby.

There were only two sub-optimal things. The water pressure of the shower was weak. As we didn't ask, I don't know if this was due to issues or climate-friendly reduction of water usage. Because of this, it took a bit longer to warm up too. Aside from that, the shower was really comfortable and spacious. The other sub-optimal thing was that they(?) started drilling at 8.30 in the morning too. I'm not completely sure if this was not right outside the hotel, as there are construction works in various places nearby, but it sounded loud and as the hotel was not full, I do not completely understand why they placed us in a room they would be working close by to. Again, not a massive issue, just trying to think of things that were not completely perfect.

The location of the hotel was superb. A practical, new generation hotel. The rooms were just like the photos, comfortable and clean. Our friends staying at another hotel had problems with hot water and heating of the room, but here there were no problems with hot water, heating and ventilation. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and sufficient. It was also enjoyable to sit at the bar of the hotel in the evening. I recommend Ruby Coco to everyone.

The location was amazing with regards to the Dhaus theater - only one U-Bahn stop away, or walkable distance. The room was very small but had all the space I needed, and all amenities too. Shower was to die for, soaps etc. were wonderful. Staff was great. I liked the fact that the hotel is hidden away inside a complex and on the second floor - made me feel a bit safer actually. The design of the hotel is very special, modern, and nice.

My only complaint is due to personal preference and is that the bed and pillow were too firm - but there was also an additional, smaller but softer pillow which was great. The TV satellite wasn't working great when I was there, but I think this might have been a temporary problem and not the hotel's fault :)

The hotel location was very convenient, the room size was good and everything was very clean.

Although the room size was good and comfortable there was a single, not very comfortable chair in the room and because the tv screen was fixed to the wall and aimed at the bed, it wasn't easy to see the tv while sitting in the chair. There was also insufficient desk space for working and there was no other flat surface on which I could rest my computer and still work. It seemed there was only one person working there at any given time so this is certainly not a hotel long on service.

I booked with breakfast for the 6 nights and i never take my breakfast in the hotel , No waffles, no pancakes, no scrambled eggs , just 2 kinds of fruit every day, the same breakfast No free parking There is no sloop for the luggage, and there is to much stairs before the reception

The rooms weren't very big, but there was everything you needed. It was very clean and cosy. Just like the common space, where there was a great bar. We sat there and enjoyed their delicious homemade cocktails.

It's not very wheelchair friendly... there is an elevator, but you always need to do a couple of stairs to get to the common room. The hotel is located in the middle of a city, but when I was in my room I didn't have a look over it.

It was a very beautiful and clean hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. I just loved how the aesthetic was. The quality was perfect for this price range!

The only thing that i didnt like was that there was no parking place, so parking was very expensive. Also because of the modern aesthetic of the building there was no privacy with the toilets and shower, because its all made of see through glass.
