Hotel Petersburg Superior

The hotel was very clean. They were extremely helpful at the reception. Hotel location is within walking distance to the shopping street. You can also reach everywhere by public transportation. You are given a free public transport card from the hotel. This is a very nice service. You will have everything you need in the room. Even though I went in winter, my room was heated very well.

I haven't had an experience that I wouldn't like.

The service was really good. We also got a VRR ticket for free. The room was spacious for a Single Room. They have a safe, hangers, a water kettle, a blow-dryer, very small TV and radio. The bed was also comfortable.

The room is covered by a carpet that I doubt is very clean, so I would recommend bringing slippers just in case. My tea/coffee station was not filled and the fridge didn't work. I would have expected some simple toiletries like q-tips etc. The shampoo/body/hand wash was not really good. I would also recommend bringing your own toiletries. My room was faced to the street so it was noisy if you open the window and even closed you hear the street noise a bit. The bed was comfy but the blanket was a bit thin, I had to take out the felt blanket from the cupboard additionally.

Hotel location was a fifteen minute walk from the main station. Roughly the same to the river & Rhine observation tower, and about twenty minutes walk to the Altstadt. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Wi-fi worked very well. The City local Travel ticket was a great help and added to the value of my stay. Staff were generally very helpful and dealt promptly with a room-safe fault issue that I experienced.

Nothing, very decent for a three star hotel

Very clean and nice receptionist, there are many Asian restaurants and supermarket around, they offered me free tourism ticket which could travel within certain German area (see attached photo)by all means even train, highly recommended! FYI: E button in the elevator means the lobby floor.

Not very close to S11(shuttle between airport), which takes 11 mins walking to the nearest station and around 20 mins to Hbf

Very nice hotel with super friendly Personal , close to the main station. Clean and really spacious room with comfortable bed and all needed. I could even check in a bit earlier which was really nice. only stayed for one night but can recommend.

Only little downside was the minibar/fridge in my room was not really working and was producing a lot heat in the room so it was bit warm. Otherwise it was all fine .

Good price, good enough location. The room was clean and nice and it was easy to find from the train station and very close to connections.

My room was overlooking the main road so was very loud. I had to have the window open due to it being around 30° both in and out. I think any other time of year it would be great, but until i got used to it, it was hot!

Train and bus ticket included even though I didn‘t need it because of 9€ ticket. Nice hotel. Could borrow an ironer (Bügeleisen).

I still has trouble sleeping because of noises in the night from other hotel guests. Some guests can back very late/early. But that‘s not really something I can blame on the hotel.

Hotel is great. Fairly basic but clean and offers what you need. Staff were great and the bonus was the free train tickets thrown in as part of the booking. It meant we visited Essen and another small town to see more Christmas markets. A great stay.

There was a mini fridge in the room! And some tea and coffee. Unusual for rooms in this price range. It was a pleasant surprise! Also, relatively big bed for a 1-person room.

Wi-fi was a bit slow and unstable. Enough to chat and check mail, but not enough to stream a movie. The only reason why it's a 9, and not a 10.

It's incredibly good value for Dusseldorf. 10 minutes from the Hauptbahnhof, and even closer to the U-bahn. Fridge and kettle too! Staff all very helpful.

Perfectly adequate for all my requirements.
