It was clean and well maintained.

Someone checked into the room earlier in the day in my name. I’m guessing that they saw the person’s name was Asian and thought I was him. They didn’t say they made a mistake, or inform us whether the room I am getting is in par with the original room I reserved. They simply told me someone already checked in with my name, and went on to prepare another room for the next 10 to 20 minutes. It was clear that they made the mistake but they didn’t acknowledge it to us. They just made us wait and gave us the key. I was tired so I didn’t complain, but it didn’t feel good.

I had an excellent 3 nights stay in the hotel: The breakfast spread is extensive and a lot of choices to choose from for your own preferences of breakfast. The room is very clean, spacious and the bed is good. Number of plugs available: 3 plugs (2 at each bedside, 1 at the table - good enough!) There are basic amenities (hand wash, shampoo and body soap) and side tables provided inside the room. And I am truly impressed at the fact that it is environmental sustainable and friendly. The staff is extremely helpful, kind and professional. The location is really just nice.. a few walks down the street from the hotel will have you a direct access to all the public transport that you will need (1 min walk away to Ausgburger Strabe - which is actually not included inside Booking.com's map, 5 mins walk away to U Wittenzplatz station and the bus stations). Also, 5 mins walk down to KaDaWe departmental store. Very convenient and impressive. Well done, Scandic! I will definitely come back here again if there's a chance for me to re-visit Berlin, this time with my husband!

I don't really like the pillows, as I had feedback to the staff there. Way too soft to my liking. Even though there's only one option for the pillow, one suggestion: That perhaps, if you could give more options to the guests for the pillows (soft, medium, hard) will be good. Just like one of the hotels that I had went to when I was in Japan many years ago whereby they gave this option to the guests. Other than that, there's nothing that I don't like about for this hotel.

I tend to be sceptical of big hotel 'chains' and try to support local businesses always but I was extremely happy with this hotel. First of all, I arrived early and they checked me in in a rather small single room (I'd booked a single room), when I complained, they at once moved me to a larger double room. Second, rooms have a great air conditioning system, which is not that common in hotels in the area, as I've stayed in many others there every year. Third, the price includes a mini bar with still and sparkling water, three beers, white and red wine, orange and lemon juice and crisps, which they renew every day free of charge - very generous in a way I, again, have not seen in any other hotel in the area. Finally, there is a sauna and steam room free to access on the top floor, again very near my room. Overall, I am very happy with my stay there!

I wish rooms were a bit bigger and brighter, but that seems to be a general issue in this area! Other than that, no complaint at all! I might rebook for this year with them!

Nice hotel, in a quiet area but walking distance to the shopping mall of KaDeWe. Breakfast is simple but ok, though a bit busy during 8:30-10am. Customer service is super - we had a very early train and asked for a packed breakfast and a very nice and big lunch box was provided for every one of us, perfect.

There are two underground stations nearby, around 150 yards and 800 yards away each, they are not connected! To Berlin central station the best one is Zoo train station which is 15 minutes walk away.

Very friendly staffs at reception. Staffs who served food, very helpfull and kind.She offered me to carry my breakfast to my table, because i have problem to walk. The breakfast was delicious and alot to choose from.

The room was hot eventhough they had AC in the room. The taxi service should have a fixed price. I paid 67.40 euros eventhough there was not a single traffic. At reception they said its cost 45-65 euros and depands on traffic.Driver refuse to drop me at terminal 2. It was difficult for me because i walk with walking sticks and i had to find my own way to terminal 2 from terminal 1.

-great room..on a corner with 📐 design. -comfortable beds -silent..no noise from neighbours.. - very practical design -breakfest - service-my room access card stop working...and they changed it in middle of the night. compensation was free drink from bar.really nice

- windows was not possible to fully open. i travel a lot,but this hotel is only one that has windows locked. i understand, when children are in a room that its good , but as an adult, i shouldn't be limited by locker.. if its prevention of suicide, its strange..people are not traveling to hotels to make suicide..specially to get rid of humidity from room it would be great help yo be able to open window.. air condition was not able yo get humidity out ..and some rooms under roof has no locker.. so really strange.

I didn't sleep well because of the bed mainly. It looked confortable when I tested it, but it wasn't so good for me. When I arrived, the toilets were not perfectly clean. I know that the water is hard and that there's deposit, but it's not difficult to clean with an acidic cleaning product. That was really not acceptable for the price range of the rooms. Just a tip for other travelers : bring a sleeping mask if you like to sleep in the full darkness, because the curtains are not fully effective when the sun rises

My room was lovely, and spacious. The location was excellent for me, and the breakfast was far beyond any place I have ever stayed in the past. Fantastic

When I arrived, I was told that daily room cleaning was not the standard. I said could i have the room cleaned every other day since I was staying seven nights? I was told that was fine. My room was never again cleaned after that!!! I ran out of toilet paper!!!!!!!! :( I ran out of wine. The beds were never again made, and the worst was that the room's surfaces become dusty, and the room became dirty! How can you have such a nice hotel, with such great staff, and such TERRIBLE communication? I asked at the dest one day. They sent a man up with toilet paper, and clean towels. The next day, the room was still not serviced. I have a hard time reccommending a place that does not clean their rooms, even once in a whole week!

The hotel is not far from Kurfürstendamm, which means it is not difficult to reach via public transport. The location is quite nice and quiet, while it only takes a few minutes to a lot of restaurants, shops and bars. We also enjoyed the breakfast and can really recommend it.

Our room is right on the first floor, which was quite loud in the morning due to kids playing in the reception area. If you can then maybe book a room on another higher floor or not too close to the breakfast/reception area

Checking in was efficient and staff were friendly. Explained the hotel processes well. The room includes a free well stocked minibar - very comforting. The gym, sauna and steam room were nice looked after facilities.

My room was on the smaller side. I didn’t like having a bed next to the wall. I smacked my head against the wall in my sleep somehow 😂. I was surprised that house keeping came some early. It wasn’t even 9am and they were banging on the door - I used the do not disturb sign the next day. The sauna needs to have a large sign, alerting guests that it is German custom that no clothing is to be worn and it’s mixed gender - It prevents awkwardness and altercations.
