Good Morning + Bad Oldesloe

There is 24 hour reception and the staff were pleasant and helpful. On our first night we were amazed to be confronted with a big old television. We couldn't get it to work and nor could the staff member who came to help. Next day it was replaced by a flat screen tv. There were not many channels compared with similar places and we were surprised to see that it said it was analogue on the screen. Analogue? In 2023? If you want room service you must ask for it. We didn't use the bar or any of the hotel food facilities. Paying for the parking was okay.

There was no ceiling light, just lamps. On our last morning there was a knock on the door and 'room service ', then several times after that until the person/people got the message that we were leaving but when we were ready, before the departure deadline. When we left most of the doors near us were open and we noticed all the rooms had the old tv sets. These days flat screen sets are not expensive so hopefully they will be provided in the near future.

The staff was very nice and welcoming. The room service was great for a late check-in. We ordered 2 pizzas and were delicious for a late dinner for 3 in the room. They have a cart in the lobby that helped us carry all our luggage in the elevator to our room. The bathroom was a good size. The breakfast was good with different options, including eggs, hams, beans, sausages, jams, breads, juices, cereal, and fruits. The night staff helped us refrigerate our daughter's milk on their fridge because our room didn't have one, and this was a huge plus for us. The parking was a good price.

There was only one window that you had to open during your stay to cool the room, but it was still very hot during the summer (late June), even at night. The beds mattresses were thin and hard.

Excellent location, just a few kilometers away from the main road from Sweden to Europe. A pleasant and silent place with a nice atmosphere, with a slight retro touch. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Good parking place even for bigger cars.

We checked out one day earlier and they paid one day back. That’s what I didn’t expect that and was really nice of them. Also the hotel is between Lübeck and Hamburg and it’s a good location if tourists want to see both cities

I guess it was good place compare to what you pay for a 3 Stars hotel. Cannot complain about anything

Hotel room was clean and tidy, staff was really helpful, price / performance is really on top, it was one of the cheapest hotels in the area! Easy to get to with car, lots of free parking spaces (paid).

Photos look better than the real deal, don't get me wrong, the hotel is not bad, it's just not THAT good! Also, outdoors areas could do with regular visits from a gardener.

Quite an experience to go back 30 years to a tube TV wiith "grainy" picture. The beds comfortable, the cleanliness OK. Questionmark though for the textilecarpets. Questionable access to the breakfast buffé where everyone used the same tools to pick their preferences, even if there was handdesinfection available. The choice offered on the other hand was great with a rich variation of cold and hot dishes. The staff was friendly and professional

I came there after dark, and because the area is very well protected from the street, I continued the alley to its end, just to find myself at the department for palliative care. The textilecarpets in the room and the dininghall were not my favorites in this age of covid-19

24 hour reception convenient for late arrival after getting off the ferry from Finland. Plenty of on site parking (chargeable). Ideal for our short overnight stopover.

We had someone intensively knocking our door twice with half an hour between (around 3am in the night) - someone speaking a foreign language but didn't want to open the door.

Clean, comfortable

There were wholes in the walls where the cat could fall into without a way out. We had to block them with whatever we got. Few parking spaces left by the time we arrived.

room was comfortable, and clean. checkin was quick and easy with reception 24h value for money was very good., we have stayed at far worse for far more.
