TOP CityLine Klassik Altstadt Hotel Lübeck

Very good position in die Altstadt, easy to reach by bus from the train station. The single room is small but with efficient use of space there is even room for a comfortable chair, which was nice for reading in the evening. The trust-based common minibar concept was convenient, and a nice touch. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, there are several good cafes nearby to choose from.

Not a big issue, but I couldn't regulate the fixture for the showerhead - it seemed to be stuck in a position a bit below my chest, not optimal. Also, there is no elevator so I had to carry my luggage to the second floor. But I was aware of this beforehand, it's a fair trade for being able to stay in a house in the old town.

Fresh air after having opened the window in the room. You have to reserve the time for breakfast (7-8, 8-9, 9-10), in time otherwise your desired time will be occupied (it is a small breakfast room), probably best to reserve the breakfast while booking the room. We ate at 8 o'clock: A faint smell of cigarette smoke in the breakfast room, No ham, a few dry slices of cheese, no boiled eggs. (But there are pickled vegetables, pickled fish and egg halves with mayonnaise if you prefere that). I had the last white bread roll, however there is dark bread. For us, the breakfast was not priceworthy.

We spent a fabulous week at Klassik Altstadt Hotel in July and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a centrally located hotel with warm atmosphere. We were a large family group of four generations across three rooms, and the lovely staff made sure all our needs were met at all times. We requested a room with few stairs for our 92 year-old grandma, a spacious room that fits an additional bed for our 3-year old, a large combined table for us each morning at breakfast, and a storage room for our bicycles - all of which were very happily accommodated. We especially enjoyed the warm atmosphere due to their small team size, which really made it feel like being part of their family during our stay. Even though there is no parking on the street directly in front of the hotel, the carpark is only a 5-minute walk away and hence very easy to reach. All our rooms had newly renovated bathrooms and were very clean. The breakfast had a wide choice of food including cold cuts, cereal, yoghurts, sweet pastry and hot food like eggs & bacon. We very much enjoyed our stay and would come back to Klassik Altstadt Hotel again anytime.

Beautiful building very close to historic town centre. I had a lovely single room with a small, but very modern en suite bathroom. The room was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. It was extremely quiet, and windows could be opened. On arrival I received a little information pack about the town, which was a very nice gesture.

The breakfast was ok, yet it felt that some people who travelled as a larger group gathered lots on their plates. I never managed to get a croissant for example. Staff was quick though to replace other items and they were very friendly, offering coffee and tea.

The location in the city center is excellent, the staff was really nice, breakfast was good, and we got a locked storage room for our bicycles. Lübeck as such is a beautiful city with lots of restaurants.

Rooms were rather small, as was the bathroom (albeit efficient). Too much furniture considering the size of the room. It was not a very hot day, but the room was nevertheless quite warm, and noise from the street made it difficult to sleep well.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night enroute Denmark to Frankfurt. It was an excellent stay with very nice room, comfortable and quiet with a very comfortable bed and ensuite bath - everything were nice. The furniture and artefacts were lovely. The location was 1 block inside from the main road and the important places were a few minutes on foot.

The price could have been a bit lesser.

The room was cozy and the bathroom was extremely clean and well-equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful, and location-wise it is perfect for visitors who want to explore Lübeck. Definitely coming back again if in Lübeck!

Nothing specific, it is a "traditional" hotel in an old building, but still relatively well-maintained and super super clean. Breakfast costs extra but it was really worth it.

The hotel is in a great location The staff was great, and even carried our luggage to the room before we checked in. It is a "classy" hotel, even classical music playing during a wonderful breakfast. It is easy to visit all of Lubeck from the hotel and good restaurants are nearby. We asked for a room at a lower level, and we got it. A great hotel!

Single rooms are at the attic, nice and cozy, with everything needed such as spacious wardrobe, shoe tissues and kettle. It was more spacious than I thought, there was even a large desk in my room. Although the bathroom is not in the room it was very clean and comfortable. Big plus for energy saving policy.

The Hotel and the room was absolutely spotless, extremely clean, efficient and friendly staff, good breakfast and good location. for the Single traveller the rooms with the shared bathroom was perfect . The shared bathroom was spotlessly clean, lots of fresh towels. Bedding in rooms was crisp and laundered to perfection. a great place.
