ibis Styles Rouen Val De Reuil

Everything was fine. It was clean, both visually and in terms of the odor, as well regarding towels, bed linings and sheets. The room was equipped with necessary utilities and furniture as well. It was a free drinking water dispenser in the lobby for guests. The potable water is also drinkable in general throughout France, but to have a filtered and treated water is always better. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was exceptional for a hotel in that price range and it is included in the price. E.g., freshly squeezed orange, not pre-prepared, fresh tea which is brewed by the guest itself in special tea cups. Also, the design of the room was nice and warm which we like about IBIS Hotels in general. That nice design was also observable in the breakfast room as well.

The room was small. The criteria of small or big depends according to the culture and country, but I might say that it was small, although equipped with necessary equipment and furniture amazingly, such as place to put bags, hair dryer, shelf in the bathroom to put toothbrush etc. Though, it was a bit difficult to move around. I think the weakest point was the bed. It was ok, but not that comfortable.

Great location travelling from the south of France heading for Calais. Great bar/ restaurant ‘au bureau’ opposite the hotel.

Room too small. I prefer the option of’no breakfast’ as the nightly rate is cheaper. We stayed here before and chose the’room only’ option as it was good value but it wasn’t available this time. £79 for 1 night is a bit expensive for a small room in an Ibis which is pretty average. Bathroom was too small too.

The hotel is in a convenient location for travellers. It has the usual Ibis secure car parking area and restaurants close by. Breakfast was quite reasonable although a supplement has to be paid. Very clean.

Wifi was OK but could have been stronger.

located just off the toll road - easy to find after a long drive. friendly staff - easy check in / out. discount offered for dinner at restaurant over the road as on site bistro was closed. Nice breakfast selection that we were able to grab and go on our early start.

banging doors in our corridor were a bit annoying but once the occupants got settled we got a good nights sleep. ( this was an issue with those guests rather than the hotel!)

shampoo very difficult to use ,had to get out of a wet shower and go to reception ,by which time my husband had soorted it no info on what number to telephone for reception

smelly drains in the room had to open window restaurant shut at weekend but 10% discount at local brasserie which is excellent

the bed and pillows were very comfortable. the staff was very pleasant. location was great and there was secure and easy parking for our car with trailer. we would stay here again.

It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly. We ate at the nearby Comptoir de Malt, which was excellent. The hotel breakfast was very good too.

The paint on the walls in the bedroom could have been freshened up. There were some scratch marks.

A lovely self service breakfast. Freshly squeezed juice. Selection of cereals.seeds etc. beautiful freshly baked breads , coffee machine & great selection of teas.

we booked a small double room and it was the smallest double room we’ve ever slept in although it had all the facilities on offer
