Brit Hotel Ploermel - Hotel de l'Hippodrome

Outside of the town with easy access to the highway. New, modern hotel with comfortable rooms. Bright and fresh bathroom. Comfortable beds. Big, free parking in front of the hotel. Diner available only with prior booking. Good quality food at competitive price supplied by an outside caterer. Good and extensive breakfast compared to other French three star hotels. Possibility to take the meals on the terrasse. Reliable WiFi. Helpful staff. Two fast food restaurants (McDonald and Pizzeria) in walking distance for those who miss the food at the hotel.

The breakfast was wonderful and the staff could not have been more helpful. Will definitely stay again. In fact looking forward to it. The staff are the backbone of this hotel they work so hard and are always pleasant .

The fact that the air conditioning not able to change from lowest of 19 degrees. We could cope but the dog was quite hot and therefore had an uncomfortable night which disturbed us.

Good breakfast. Very helpful receptionists (English speaking)). Acceptable walk into town. Bicycle friendly - safe storage in the garage.

Tea and coffee making facilities within the room (although when we asked further supplies were available).

The warm & friendly greeting,the cleanliness throughout the hotel& the size of the room.Decor was good & pleasing location - just off the road network & 3 restaurants very close by. The lovely receptionist was so helpful & welcoming on our arrival.Thankyou

There was some noise from another room late in the evening- 11pm.

Friendly staff and very helpful. All facilities in the room worked well. Excellent shower and the basin actually retained water. Hotel and room were very clean.

Convenient for the main road network and a few minutes from the centre but in a quiet location. Good choice at the breakfast buffet. Friendly staff.

Very limited storage space in the room..no drawers, just open shelves. Haphazard service for making up the room and replacing cups and coffee etc which was put down to Covid restrictions.

Good location and excellent buffet breakfast. Room was a good size and quiet.

The Aircon didn't work and the room was far too hot which made it difficult to sleep 😞. Considering the cost of the room this wasn't really acceptable

modern, clean and the room was a decent size. bathroom/shower was amazing. staff friendly and helpful. Secure parking with a locked gate is great for a motorbike traveller like myself.

No bar/evening food options at location. Location is fine if you have transport. No local shops, but does have a McDonalds and Buffalo Grill next door.

Our dog was made very welcome which put us at ease. Staff were so helpful and spoke excellent English. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast, appreciated the huge room and great location. We would certainly return if we were in the area.
