Villa Duflot Hôtel & Spa Perpignan

From the minute we arrived staff were so very friendly. Ground floor room, dog bed and bowl in room. Nice touch. Balcony overlooking courtyard garden. Bed bigger than superking very comfortable great pillows and linen. Room excellent. Pool and bar area looked fantastic, little expensive at €10 a pint. Evening meal In restaurant was exceptional, food cooked to perfection and the waiting staff extremely knowledgeable about food and wine made the whole experience worth going back.

The only very small complaint was no outdoor bins. Having a dog with us we’re happy to take care of the you know what. But we do need a bin to put it in. Only outside bin at the rear entrance from car park.

The hotel is conveniently located just off the Autoroute and a few minutes drive to Perpignan center. Rooms are large and clean. Beautiful dining and bar area around the pool. All staff and service were friendly, efficient and really wonderful.

The bar and restaurant while excellent quality, I feel were overpriced and basically Paris prices while in Perpignan. Perhaps that is due to inflation. 15 euros for a glass of champagne, 22 E for a double Jack Daniels, 23 euros for a white asparagus starter (with literally one green and one white asparagus spear), 23 euros for breakfast. My personal opinion dining was overpriced. Bathroom is a little dated, difficult to enter and take a shower if you have any disability.

Professional and high quality service. Staff very friendly. Great breakfast, not mass produced. Delicious 6 course meal on the bank holiday. Beautiful grounds, well kept. Bed comfortable. Free glass of champagne on my last evening. Peaceful and unobtrusive piano music playing in the bar area.Very peaceful, such a great place to unwind. Bus stop not too far away. Only one euro by bus from Perpignan to Villefrenche de Conflent or Collioure. Overall one of the best hotels I've stayed in.

This feels like nit-picking. Menu the same for lunch and dinner every day, although chef cooked a delicious omelette instead. Coffee could be a bit better. I was a bit disappointed by public transport links from Perpignan. Limited service and almost non existent on public holidays. Collioure disappointing, too many fast food cafés and ice cream booths.

A charming, small spa within 10 mins of Perpignan centre. We received a wonderfully warm welcome and the staff were superb throughout our stay. We ate at the restaurant on our first night, and I must say the food and service were spectacular. I was initially hesitant given the price tag, but for a one off ‘fine dining’ experience for a special occasion it really did tick all the boxes. Breakfast was too heavily priced (€23 per person), so we only opted for this on one morning. The pool area is small, but beautifully clean and the surrounding area has lots of sun beds, and even table tennis and Plotonk which we enjoyed playing during our stay. We also made use of the spa, which was very relaxing and enjoyable. The toiletries were also heavenly in our room and were replenished each day along with coffee and new towels.

It would be great if there was an on-site gym, there seems to be a lot of land at the front of the property which seems like an ideal place for this. The spa is in a slightly strange area of Perpignan, and getting to town is a taxi ride away. But we literally wanted a few days relaxing by the pool so it was perfect for us. But if you were looking for somewhere a bit more central I would go elsewhere as the public transport isn’t that great.

The pool and restaurant are excellent as are the newly renovated rooms.

Our first stay 2 weeks ago was in a newly renovated room. The bed, pillows were so comfortable. The bathroom was excellent with a large walk in rain shower. The second stay was in one of the older rooms. Unfortunately the bed wasn’t particularly comfortable and the pillows hard and lumpy. The shower was over a bath and the floors were tiled. Generally nice but disappointing compared to the newer rooms and not conducive to a good nights sleep. I would advise to request a refurbished room . One highly recommended tip is DO NOT park under the trees at the front. your car will be completely covered in bird poop.

Very nice hotel, the staff were super helpful. Rooms were spotless, pool area was great. I had the spa twice it’s nice and there is an area to chill out with tisane (herbal tea). Table tennis and trampoline were great for the kids.

Bathroom had no extractor fan. There were no snack type meal available even at the bar. Just formal restaurant or nothing. This makes it difficult with kids.

The room was very cozy, quiet and well appointed. The restaurant is a gastronomic experience . Also liked that the hotel offered a SPA. The staff are very courteous and helpful.

To stay at this hotel is best if you have a car, otherwise you're limited to what you can do in the area. Taxis add to the cost of staying at this hotel and if you venture to Perpignan, you may not find a cab to return. The pool and restaurant are very close together, so the pool is closed when the restaurant is operating.

The restaurant is no longer as good as it used to be. We only stayed 1 night and preferred the older style of menu, compared to a more fine dining option now. For a longer stay, eating this every night would not be good. Also, the food itself was no where near as good as before - it fell short of expectations. e.g. very fatty meat

If someone seeks peace of mind in the breathtaking nature and have an exceptional personal service, this is the place and staff. I had a serious problem with rent a car and the staff members made endless efforts to help solving it. Usually I never mention the names, but in this case, I feel that I have to do at least this to extend my gratitude: Ludovic, Marion and Philip.

Refined art deco property with comfortable rooms, excellent service and nice spa, pool and gourmet restaurant.

The hotel lacked a casual dining option and given its location (not walking distance from the town center), I think this should be addressed. The only option for eating is a gourmet restaurant (which is excellent but not always what is needed).
