Parking was fine across the street or down by the magnificent Roman arch - where presumably they would have parked their chariots. The location was superb as it was a short walk into the old town and the Sting concert at the astonishing Theatre Antique d'Orange. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Most of the staff seemed to be smokers. My first glimpse on arrival was a group of them smoking outside the back door in the car park. On the first night around 9pm there was a group of reception staff smoking outside the front door so you had to walk through the smoke to go inside. Perhaps this is normal for France, I don't know. On the first morning there was no hot water in my room, number 221. I did tell reception and so I had hot water for my second night. It would have been lovely to have had real cups and glasses in the room instead of paper and plastic cups. That would make a huge impression!

As everyone in prior reviews stated, the beds are very comfortable and the room quiet despite being right on the road. We were fortunate and able to park on-site but it is VERY limited, costs €6 per night. We brought our dog and the cost was also €6 per night. The breakfast was standard and cost €10.90 per person. The location is right on the edge of the city centre which is good for a walk after travelling all day. Unfortunately lots of restaurants were closed as Tuesday evening after Christmas but we found a great restaurant called Antico Grill. Highly recommended, it is basic French cuisine but prepared to a very high standard.

I had written more than a day in advance asking about nearby parking if their lot was filled as we had skis in the car and needed secure parking. I wanted to know the cost for pets (as some places are very expensive) and did not receive an answer to the questions so as we had a free cancellation until 6pm, I took a chance to arrive and see what the costs and situation was like, luckily it worked out....unfortunately I don't speak French otherwise I would have called but have learned that trying to speak a foreign language over the phone often makes it more confusing for both parties.

The Stairs are an impressive feature decorated with pretty impressive pictures of the Roman Theatre setting the scene for the focus in the town. Car parking is easy a few hundred metres away and free; if the limited available spaces are all taken. The air-conditioning is quiet and efficient and in the summer it is needed.

The hotel is a business hotel, meaning it is efficient and lacks some things that would work for holiday guests at the weekends, like a fridge in the room and more space!

The location was great to all the amphitheater. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

It be nice if the rooms had a mini fridge to keep drinks cold. Besides that it was a very good stay.

The front of house, Nicholas is an absolute star. Friendly and very funny, he couldn’t do enough to ensure a smooth and happy stay, especially pointing us in the right direction for food and drinks.

Bedroom was great I loved the 4 beds it s so rare to find and still so appreciated for a family with young kids who co sleep

No more parking when we arrived late on this busy weekend .

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and the coffee great.

It would be good to have a little round table & 2 chairs in the room.

The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The reception was helpful. Hotel is reasonably close to the center.

The halls did not look as nice as our room, and the carpets were quite dirty. Some rooms overlook the main road, which might cause issues with noise with open windows.

The location was excellent, being in the centre of Orange.

Not much. we found the staff very polite and they made us feel at home.
