Hotel Ibis Budget Montpellier Centre Millenaire -

There was one spot on the wall in the room I had booked for the second night (i.e. Sun 10/9 - Mon 11/9); I think it was from a mosquito. Happens. Really nothing else to add. Maybe some map of the neighborhood for travelers & tourists would be handy, including the options for public transport (most notably the tram railway).

The room is quite small and it's not the most modern place we've stayed at, but we were quite aware when we booked it. We got it because it accepts pets, and we were joined by our two cats. Everyone was very nice, spoke English, and although they didn't have a fridge in the room they were kind enough to store some medicine in their own private refrigerator. Very much appreciated. The location was great, close to the highway but also to the city, and some good restaurants. There is also free parking inside the property.

I booked for two nights because my flight home was cancelled and the next one was in two days time. However, I was then offered a place on the waiting list for a flight the next day: I would need to go to the airport to see if I could get on the flight. I explained this to the staff and they said I could have a refund for the second night I had booked if I got on this flight and called them from the airport. This is what happened, and I was refunded. I think many hotels would have refused a refund in this situation. The hotel's location is great, in a quiet location but 5 minutes from the Comedie, the centre of Montpellier.

The bed was extremely comfortable, the wifi worked well and the bathroom was very well equipped. (Shower was excellent!) Staff were friendly and helpful. No keycards- access with code was very useful. Housekeeping left the room spotless.

Room was a little cramped for two people. It had been an option for 3 with the bed folded down but I don't think it would have been comfortable. Very little storage/hangers.

Room with enough space to comfortable store luggage and still walk around. The beds are a bit hard but not terrible, and they're a good size. Decent breakfast with enough choice, and the location is OK, a little walking distance from public transportation but also a parking on site in case you come by car. If the weather is good, you might as well just walk to the city center. Nice warm shower and the code system for the doors ensures you cannot lose your key - just make sure to remember/bring/take a photo of the code before you go out! Staff was very friendly. Good value for this price.

The room doesn't have a bathroom as such, it's a shower cabin that opens directly into the room (toilet is separate of course). Not really a problem, but good to know. We found it quite warm in the room at night, and opening the window (I prefer that over turning on the AC) may get you a fair bit of noise from the road.

very nice and helpful staff and relatively close to the city centre. It is about 2km away from the old town so one can easily walk. It is clean and comfortable, perfect for a night stay on the way to somewhere else

You might hear a bit of noise if your room overlooks the front door, but it's not really a problem. The rooms are basic and space is limited as usual with ibis budget, but it is clean and more than enough if your plan is a stopover of one or two nights.

In a calm area between the city centre and the Odysseum shopping/entertainment centre. The room was quite basic, but clean and comfortable, nice shower too. The breakfast was good value, much more choice than I expected.

The room was very small and had a very small window too. The air conditioning didn’t really work in our room, but we got a fan which was ok.

Ibis Budget standard for rooms and location. The staff is nice and ready to help with anything you need. Breakfast was good for the price. Location is good if you're planning to visit other cities/beaches close to Montpellier as the hotel is located close to exits/roads. If you're looking to be in the city center, maybe it is better to find something else.

The location was quite a distance from the city centre and it wasn't easy to get from the hotel to the railway station. One of the staff gave me directions for travel by bus which was not accurate.

Very friendly staff. Totally clean rooms in very good shape - exactly what you’re looking for in this type of hotel. Pretty good location and big parking place.
