Le Manoir Hôtel

Excellent location, quiet, clean spacious room (prestige double) querky decor and interesting artwork. Le Manoir has an atmosphere of elegant charm. Ensuite facilities are modern with nice shower - toilet decor could do with refresh. Attentive staff + super cold buffet breakfast with a large selection of fruits, yoghurts, compotes, pastries, breads, cakes and delicious home made peanut butter. Definitely will recommend and return.

Nothing to dislike. Toilet decor in need of refresh. Dressing gowns and a few extra toiletries (shampoo, body lotion) could enhance room and would be welcomed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Le Manoir Hotel. It's really easy to get to from the airport, and really close to the city centre (5min walk) but without the hustling and bustling. The member of staff at reception was also really nice and helpful, given us advice and recommendations on where to eat in La Rochelle.

We had a really nice and pleasant stay, but if we had to complain about anything it would be the breakfast – we just found that the price per person was too expensive for what it was. There were plenty of sweet options, but not many on the savoury side you couldn't help yourself for refills with the coffee.

A really good hotel ! Easy to find and just a 15/20 minute walk to the centre of the city, though close to a bus route also. Parking in front of the hotel was extremely useful (reserve before you arrive). The welcome was warm, and the room was well equipped. Large bathroom. The hotel décor is very smart and super clean. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and many home-baked cakes and breakfast treats. We would certainly stay again, and since we often visit this city we probably will !

Everything was great.

Our second stay here and it will not be our last. This lovely old property has been beautifully restored and decorated, the rooms are large and comfortable with huge beds which are extremely comfortable. The short walk into La Rochelle through the park is very easy to enjoy the huge array of restaurants, bars and street vendors. The staff are very welcominh and helpful and the breakfast also was excellent. Thanks again Le Manoir !!

Beautiful historic building with contemporary and imaginative styling. Excellent position for leisurely stroll into the port and harbour areas and equally near beaches. Friendly helpful & professional staff. Lovely breakfast in a beautiful dining room ( gorgeous tableware too!). Air conditioning in room was fantastic as was the super walk in shower with an enormous rainfall shower head.

This was a beautiful hotel. We were impressed as soon as we arrived. The welcome from the team was perfect. We loved the decor, especially the artwork, furniture and the little cats. It was in a great location to visit La Rochelle but also very quiet and peaceful. The on site reserved parking was also great Thank you to all the team for a wonderful stay

Lovely hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was stunning with bread, crossaints, cold meat, cheese and so many cakes!!! We loved the décor and will be looking to buy similar wall art for our home in the UK.

The room was too small for our 3 night stay and unfortunately there were no others available for us to upgrade. This was entirely our fault when booking and absolutely no fault of the hotel. The room would be perfect for a one night stay.

Breakfast was superb and an excellent location. We had the whole chateau to ourselves and our room was massive. A beautiful place.

We went into local town for the evening and had a real job trying to find something to eat. It was coming up to end of September, but we have never had this problem in france before. It did sa online not to expect much food wise, but we were really surprised

The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The property is a beautiful old manoir style building but well maintained. It was convenient for the centre of town. There is a very small car park available for residents but a space has to be pre booked. I particularly enjoyed the variety and choice for breakfast. A very enjoyable stay.

Excellent, quiet location but easy walking to the old port. Quirky decor and good sized room and bathroom.

Staff were very helpful and cheerful when asked but we’ve had more enthusiastic hosts elsewhere who would delight in telling us about the best places to visit on a short trip.
