Campanile Orléans Ouest ~ La Chapelle-St-Mesmin

The staff very friendly and helpful, offered to speak in English if we wished. The room on the ground floor has easy access and pet friendly. The bed comfortable, TV a good size, kettle with drink sachets, roomy bathroom, free Wi-Fi. Breakfast one of the best, fresh & plenty of choice in a pleasant dining area.

We arrived on a hot day, and I would have appreciated a top bed sheet as well as a duvet as I awoke in the early hours feeling hot and uncomfortable. The bedding was tucked under tightly, too much so in my opinion, though it gives a neat appearance. The desk lamp was missing a light bulb. The bathroom heater once turned on didn't turn off (I enquired & it is automatic, but added to the heat generally). The shower has a fixed top soaker and a handheld and the settings are not clear, if you don't want wet hair stand clear! Default setting should be the hand held option please!

It was very easy to find, just off the autoroute. Veey easy to book a room whilst driving on the autoroute.confirmation was instant. Close to restaurants or fast food outlets and a supermarket. Though there was a restaurant at the Campanile. Breakfast was good. Rooms clean and warm. Beds cosy. Bathroom was clean. Plenty of hot water. Soap and shower gel in dispensers. Fantastic value for a stop over. Kettle for hot drinks in the room. TV.

It was all fine. If anything the carpet & flooring were tired looking, in our room, but appeared as clean as could be considering how many people must pass through.

The hotel is in a very convenient location for travel with a very decent restaurant

I asked for a ground floor as I was elderly. They gave me a room with disability facilities which was fine but the shower was a wet room which when used flooded the floor making it difficult to use the washbasin or toilet without bare feet. A squeegee was provided and I was able to prevent water going into the bedroom. Everything else was fine

All was of a good standard, the reception, the room, breakfast. The staff at reception helped us in the morning as we had a problem with the car and it was soon sorted

My Wife detected a cigarette smoke aroma in the room, she has a very sensitive nose! I found the shower head was scaled up but with a bit of a rub on the rubber jets it worked fine

The members of staff were great, helpful and informative. The evening meal and breakfast was lovely great choice on the menu.. the room was small but had everything you needed. The property looks a bit dated and needs a fresh coat of paint but it was clean and absolutely excellent value for money… A perfect one night stop over…

Beds were not as comfortable as other Campaniles. Requested ground floor room in advance at time of booking. We were informed only on day of arrival that no ground floor rooms were available.

We liked the restaurant menu and food. Great breakfast selection. Helpful staff.

The time queueing to pay on the morning of departure, due to slow client, who wanted to pay by cheque. It made our departure later than planned.

Hotel getting a bit tired, mattresses quite soft and tired - slept back to front as torso end almost collapsed, insufficent staff at breakfast - no plates, knifes or croissants

Well laid out design, always know what you'll get. Staff were very helpful and knowlegeable. The young lady on reception was well able to make us feel very welcome.

This one is getting very tired, time for a major refit of the rooms.

outside sleeping facilities looked run down. likewise the room although it was clean and tidy it needed brightening up. the toilet did not flush properly
