Hôtel De La Vallée

Location quiet, short walk from central Dinard, room had wonderful view and breakfast was good. We also like to take a boat from the hotel to St Malo and spend a couple of hours there. There are regular boat services to various nearby towns and islands.

Hotel car park is small but we have stayed at the hotel three times and have been able to park without a problem every time. The rooms do not have air con but even though we have been there in August we did not find that a problem.

Ideally situated on the water with a lovely restaurant. The breakfast was delicious with exceptional service. The hotel is right on the quay to take the ferry over to Saint Malo.

My bedroom seemed to have no curtains and as I slept at the hotel end of August, I was woken by the light. Maybe there was something I did not understand.

Had a first floor room with balcony and lovely views over the bay. The bed was really comfortable, great shower and separate loo. The balcony had a table and 2 chairs which got the afternoon and evening sun. It was fun looking out across the bay to the hotel opposite, people walking by and one evening a great jazz trio played outside below. The staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming, they really made us feel at home. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent, the entrecôte of Hereford beef was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was also great but not included in the price of the room. There are frequent passenger ferries at the end of the quay too so a good way to visit St Malo.

The room had 2 biggish chairs inside which didn't leave much space to move around the bed. There is free parking for 5 cars at the hotel but on a first come first served basis but you can park nearby and its not very expensive. The hotel is at the bottom of the hill so the only way on foot is up.

Room. Fantastic view from room window. Delightful. Comfortable bed. Location. Close to foot ferry landing. End of road so no traffic noise. Terrace. Superb terrace on which to dine or drink overlooking the sea. Lovely dining room and food.

Not the French way but coffee and tea in the room would have been perfect.

Great reception and hospitality! I have really enjoyed my time in this hotel, starting from comfy outside terrace to cute little balcony in the room with sea view. Good breakfast as well, yet I have missed some choice for non-sweet things

The room is rather small, but that was not really disturbing.

Great location, right by the water. Terrace off room 213 was lovely once the rain cleared. Close to handsome neighborhood and seaside shops and cafés— within a beautiful seaside path.

Parking nearby is a bit sketchy, but generally a safe neighborhood. Room was small typical of Parisian hotel rooms. View was of tiny beach, not the entire bay.

Lovely location - perfect to visit Dinard - in a quiet spot. Very friendly staff and Good breakfast .

Rooms perfectly comfortable, but the price is related to the location and view, rather than the room facilities!

The location was private and slightly away from the crowd. View was water front and looked over the inlet where many small boats were anchored. Very scenic.

The dinner we had wasn't as good as most French meals we ate elsewhere. Service was good.

We love our visits to this small hotel in Dinard - our room was a perfect one night stay size - view is very special to wake up to. Staff fantastic from the moment we arrived until our departure - they waited up for us as our boat had been delayed and greeted us with big smiles. Breakfast delicious. Only sad thing was we had to leave in the morning so missed an evening meal - next time!

Excellent location with lovely view of estuary and small cove below . Great breakfast! Lovely outside decking area for drinks, snacks and “ people watching”!
