A beautiful house with stunning courtyard garden where we were made very welcome by the friendly owners and their family. Suggestions were provided on nearby restaurants, and these lived up to recommendations. Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious. The central location make exploring the town easy, and secure parking at La Maison de Montaboulin was a bonus. We hadn't previously visited Chateauroux but are very glad we did and would certainly hope to stay here again if we return.
I can't think of anything that could be improved.

We had a very nice stay in Chateauroux, booked it literally 2 hours before we arrived. The rooms are exceptionally clean, cosy and well equipped. The hosts are very nice and welcoming people. Showed us around, recommended and helped to book a restaurant, which it being a Saturday evening was quite a difficult task. The house is minutes away from the center, which is great if you want to have a look around. Also, private garage is a bonus, so you don't need to worry about finding a space on the streets. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. Overall great experience!

The property was beautiful, made all the better for us for the private and secure parking. The hosts were very accommodating, friendly and helpful and the accommodation space was exceptional - beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The homemade breakfast was a bonus - complimented by local cheeses. We would definitely visit again.

A hidden gem in the town centre. Owners so helpful and Pierre even walked with us to the path in the gardens to show us the way to the restaurant. His daughter cooked us a lovely carrot cake. Definitely a recommendation with a secret garden

What a great find. Warm welcome from Pierre and Aurelie on arrival. Lovely comfortable suite at the top of the house, with lots of lovely small touches. Aurelie walked us to the area where restaurants were located and made recommendations.

Everything about this place was perfect for our family of 5 (7, 7 &13 years). such a beautiful place, with 2 large bedrooms and private bathroom. We received a very warm welcome, even after arriving very late, after getting stuck in Paris traffic. The breakfast was delicious and generous, including a beautiful spice cake, made by the owner’s children. Highly recommended.
