B&B HOTEL Calais Centre St Pierre

Brilliantly located for an overnight stay after coming off an evening ferry with my wife and 6 kids. We took two rooms of 4 and they were perfect for us with a king size bed and bunk beds. Perfect. Great breakfast options in the hotel or McDonald's and Boulangerie Ange over the road. We arrived just as the the reception was closing but the very friendly person working still made time to make sure we were settled. The room also had a great shower - nice and powerful!

I'm glad it was a cool temperature day and night and we could blast the room with cool air from opening the window. Wouldn't like to think how hot it would be in the rooms on a hot day without Aircon. Stil, it's not something I didn t like for this trip, just a risk for the future that'll probably never come true for me.

Fantastic breakfast even with hot food option. Parking at the door. Mattress was firm and comfortable. Just off the motorway and easy access to centre of town. Ideal for a ferry traveller.

I had not used a B&B Hotel before and am a dinosaur with such things as parking machine data entry as they are rarely the same. Confronted with an ATM entry I followed the detailed instructions knowing it would go wrong. It didn't. I should approach using B&B Hotel with more confidence when I use them again. Dinosaurs hate being trained and out of their comfort zone but the benefit of working through the human-free check in experience was worth the worry.

It was a great location and easily accessible - I liked that we could check in whenever - as it was done electronically if reception wasn’t open. Also, breakfast was excellent! And there was free coffee and hot chocolate available all day and night.

The drains in the hotel smell Really bad…. So When you run the water in the bathroom it smells… however, we closed the door and thought no more about it. The beds were really hard…. But better than soft and squeaky!

Very convenient location for eurotunnel. Good family room with bunk beds for 2 kids. Comfortable mattress. Clean bathroom. easy check in/check out process including self checkin out of hours. will use again on trips to France, better than other similar hotels we have stayed in locally. breakfast served (we didn’t use it) although no restaurant on site for other meals. Opposite a McDonalds and an American style diner, also boulangeries and supermarkets within a couple of mins walk.

Brilliant stopover hotel after arriving late at night via Eurotunnel. Great location as minutes from Eurotunnel terminal. Really easy check in despite an unmanned reception because we were so late. Enter your Booking.com reservation number and receive a printed slip with your room number and access code. Very simple quadruple room but plenty big enough for 4 with double bed and bunk bed. Very clean linen and towels. Good shower, though tendency for water to splash out onto bathroom floor as curtain a bit skimpy. Budget hotel so no hairdryer or tea/coffee making - but we expected this. Really friendly and helpful staff in the morning and an excellent breakfast available - good scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage as well as continental breakfast and great yoghurts! Well worth buying their breakfast. Added bonus, there is a fantastic boulangerie over the road where we picked up fantastic filled rolls and salad boxes for our long journey through France. Would definitely use again on trips to France!

A hairdryer in the room would be an added bonus.

Comfortable system of booking - without personal just by terminal near hotel enter. Clean room, free lighted parking with cameras, available breakfast, ability of early check-out. Good choice for morning traveling to UK by Eurotunnel because this hotel placed just in 4 minutes by car from Eurotunnel check-in terminal. In 3 minutes by car placed beach.

So small room and doors doesn't prevent from noise in hall, weak lighting in the room, small bathroom, motorbikes shop near the hotel and a lot of bikers rides at night near.

B&B hotels are hotels that you don't book to spend your holidays in, but to spend a night when stopping over. The room does not need to be comfy, but clean, provide a good sleep, and decent breakfast. Whilst other hotels in this category often fail on one of these three points, B&B Calais ticked all the boxes, and to a level that is slightly higher than comparable hotels. In addition, service was very friendly, and location close to the chunnel is optimal.

Entering the access code on the front door could have been more easy.

Excellent location, pet friendly, lovely staff, overall comfortable, large parking area, and one of the most important things was there was a hot drinks machine in the lobby, which was very convenient for us.

The room was small, but clean, the bathroom needs updating, as well as tv channels. It would be good to add a minibar in the rooms. There was a soft drinks machine in the lobby, but it would be nice to add other things, for example beer. Sorry, but we really love beer 🙂

the shower was above standard! perfect to wake one up and feel reviatalizef after a long road trip

I was unfortunate in having a couple w baby next door who were quite noisy. luckily I had earplugs with me which solved the problem. if possible would be great to have a room inbetween when not fully booked but it did seem busy as the car park was complete.

It was great to see the same receptionist again. We've used this hotel many times as it's so convenient for Eurotunnel, McDonalds and a superb boulangerie just a couple of minutes walk away. The rooms are spotless and the bathrooms more than adequate. My husband always enjoys being able to watch BBC telly! The car park is great. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Calais.

There's nothing to dislike.
