Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel Aarhus

This hotel boasts an excellent and strategic placement in Aarhus, near the city center, parking, services and grocery shopping; enhancing its overall appeal. I enjoyed the breakfast, the cleanliness and notably, the amiable and accommodating demeanor of the staff members. The accommodations provided a satisfactory level of spaciousness, while the effective performance of the air conditioning unit contributed positively to the stay.

Throughout the duration of my week-long stay, the breakfast selections remained consistent without any variation. An issue arose with the himalayan salt container, as its contents became inaccessible (won't come out) for the entirety of my stay. Regrettably, this matter went unnoticed by the staff. Furthermore, a notable drawback was the subpar performance of the Wi-Fi service. While intermittent connectivity was observable, its sluggishness was evident. In light of this, I would strongly advise the hotel management to consider a comprehensive upgrade of their Wi-Fi infrastructure to ensure seamless and ubiquitous coverage for all guests.

The overall experience is positive. The staff was very helpful with any issue: booking a taxi, providing umbrellas, storing the luggage, etc. The room was clean and well maintained. The water bottle was refilled each day. I liked the strive to be sustainable. Complimentary water and a cookie/fruit is always available at the lobby. Breakfast is okay, and the coffee is very nice.

The breakfast each day is the same. For a couple of days it could be very nice, but I stayed for six and got frustrated with the same choices every day. The gym only opens at 7:00, which is unacceptable for a business-traveler who has to be at the meeting early in the morning, so I couldn't make use of it.

This was my third time staying here. I have always found the staff warm and helpful. Going over and above to answer questions and make the stay as comfortable as possible. Communication ahead of arrival was great. They helped me work out how I was going to get to a work event while there was a half marathon in the city which had closed roads off and helped to make sure I knew where to go to get my bus to the airport. Very short walk from the train station where buses from Billund and Aarhus airport stop. I always feel safe when travelling alone here. Lovely restaurant on site and great breakfast.

I'd always happily stay longer

Loved the location of the hotel - it really was the best, not on the busy high road but not too far from it. Could see the Arhos museum from the window, so close to music hall and close to all other tourist attractions. Loved the look of the building from the elevators to corridors and links to different places The staff were so friendly and went the extra mile to assist us with every request we made Honestly, it made our stay so good if we are ever back will definitely stay here again

The bed wasn't so comfortable but the kids loved the bunk beds.

The property is clean and everything is in walking distance of around 15 mins. The walk to the railways station and bus station is about 7 mins. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We had booked a budget/saver room as we were only staying for a night and while we checked in we were allotted a room that was already occupied, on returning to the reception we mentioned this and the staff immediately apologised for the mistake upgraded our room to an executive room and provided us with two drink vouchers all for free.

Room was well equipped with everything I need during business trip (having an iron in room is not that obvious nowadays). Good breakfast. WiFi allowed me to work from my room with no issues. Hotel staff helped me to recover forgotten items from my room and sent it to my home location.

Chat bot didn't work for me. I had to call reception in order to report forgotten items.

Daily cleaning and iron in the room. The refrigerator is spacious and quiet. The WIFI worked well.

There is no information that you have to pay for each visit to the fitness center. I do not understand why the hotel staff does not report malfunctions to their management. For 9 days, no one tried to repair the blinking light in the room.

The breakfast was great, never too crowded & a good variety of hot & cold food. The location was good & the rooms were a good size. Although the hotel was full, it was not noisy. The lobby & bar area were very pleasant.

The room was not as clean as it could be. Some if the fittings are beginning to look scuffed & dated.

Great breakfast, a bit pricey but worth. Great room and availability of people to support when needed. Location is super and hotel standards very high.

Invoice at the check out was wrong and I didn't notice it when leaving as I was in rush, but I called and issue was solved over the phone.

Very nice rooms. Good view over part of the city (10th floor). Breakfast was exceptional. Walking distance to city center. I would have rated the breakfast this way also before covid, the choices were truly amazing. At the time I visited, we were only few people for breakfast. Very few customers and the mask mandate were the only signs of the Covid slow down at this hotel. Well done, I was impressed. If you like the big fancy chain hotels, this one is definitely in the top 5 (in Denmark).

TV and Wifi was fine, not great. (for me). I tried to project Apple Fitness+ to the TV. No success, but that might also be Apple who is to blame.
