Cabinn Aarhus

Rooms are comfortable, clean, very nice, there is enough space for everything (if you book a room alone). The room is modern and practical. Hot water, kettle, enough light, coffee/tea. Hotel is in the heart of the city. The city center is beautiful, you can simply walk. I would stay in this accommodation again.

Unfortunatelly wi-fi was not working in the room and hotel didn't solve the problem. Internet is in the foyer. If you book a room with bunk bed for 2 persons, probably it will be very small room. The luggage room - exists, but they just give you key and you go there alone and leave your stuff. Not sure if it save... The attitude of a few people at the reception was mostly without real interest to help, answer, solve...

The room was clean and comfortable, with good storage space, a TV, and tea/coffee facilities. The receptionist who checked me in spoke excellent English and was efficient and helpful. The en suite bathroom was clean, with a powerful shower and lots of hot water. This Cabinn is in the city centre and about a 5 minute walk to the waterfront. It overlooks a small canal where there are bars and restaurants, but it's quiet, I heard no noise. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of variety of breads, cheeses, meats, cereals etc. There are also shops and good restaurants a few minutes walk from the hotel. Very good service, and a good budget place to stay.

So location is amazing. You right in the heart of Aarhus city center and can walk to everything. So many places to eat and drink. Great town and super friendly staff.

There are a few items that are a bit ruff. So With the heat wave going on, the room I was in does not have A/C and not sure if any do have A/C, but no A/C means you sweet all night long even with the window open. Also depending on location of your room it can be very loud with the bars, and with them being open on some nights to 5AM that can be challenging. Rooms are small, so plan accordingly. I expected them to be small, but these are micro level, but again depends on the room booked.

The location is great located in the very center. And it's a pretty good price. The staff is super nice. The lobby and facilities are really nice

The room layout does not feel optimal The TV placement is really awkward (at least in my room) it's not super comfortable to watch from the bed or from a chair. The breakfast lacked bacon/sausages/meat other than cold cuts (this is not a big critique but I feel like it was lacking it compared.to other hotel breakfasts at the same price point)

It's just located nearby the Town Centre, taking just 5 mins walking to the high street and a quarter to the train station. It's tranquil and clean.

The only one thing I would suggest is; I arrived by 11pm. The main entrance was locked. I saw a notice showing a number for the check-in travellers to call. I personally would suggest they set up a doorbell aside as well. Luckily I bought a package sim card at the airport, I could ring them up. Not all the international travellers get sim cards or they may get sim cards with unlimited internet only if the travellers stay in Denmark for just a couple of days only. So a doorbell may be more considerate and thoughtful.

The room was modern and comfortable. I stayed in the economy room and it exceeded my expectations; the room was small, but more than enough space for someone travelling alone. The location was great, right in the heart of the city and next to the Aarhus Theatre with the river on the other side. Staff were extremely friendly too, offered assistance wherever they could and even translated an automated message for me. I visited during March and the room was extremely quiet despite there being pubs and restaurants in the neighbouring buildings. They had a luggage room, so I could store my luggage in there after I checked out for the day which was very convinient.

The storage room didn't have specific lockers, just open shelving but you could only access the storage room with a key that you had to get from reception and give back as soon as you were done in the storage room.

Located in the city centre, most of the restaurants, bars/clubs, and activities can easily be accessible by foot. The staff at the reception was friendly and professional. We booked three rooms as we were travelling as a group, and they placed our rooms right next to each other which was very helpful.

We were two to stay in the room, but there shampoo and shower gel was only left for one. The reception gave us more shampoo, but the queue at the reception was unexpected which was inconvenient at the time. Also saw a silverfish in the bathroom, but it was only one.

This is excellent value for money; a compact room with everything in it, in the middle of Aarhus centre. The sound isolation is also excellent: with the window closed, I could not hear the nightlife at all. I did not have the breakfast.

Because it was very warm in Aarhus when I visited, so I woke up early because the room was so stuffy. And because I had to open the windows in the morning for ventilation, this meant lots of noise which was not conducive to sleeping. I would suggest that Cabinn upgrades its air ventilation.

Excellent location in central Aarhus. Covers all the basics, no complaints. Yes, rooms and bathrooms are small but you get what you pay for, and for the price it's very good. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room are a nice bonus.

I requested a later check out (just 30 mins extra) from one of the staff at reception, who said it would be no problem and she'd make a note of it. However, 20 minutes after the 'official' check out time (11.00) a member of staff knocked on my door and said, a little rudely, that check-out time was 11.00. I told him I'd had my later check-out cleared with the receptionist, but he just kept saying that you can only get a late check out if you pay for it. Well, no one had said anything about that to me, and clearly that's an issue of miscommunication between him and his staff, and not my fault. He acted as if he didn't believe me, and eventually just told me to hurry up. He was a bit rude and it put a damper on my whole experience. The other staff were very nice, though.

This may well be one of the smallest rooms you stay in, but it is what it advertises ...a reasonably priced room in the centre of Aarhus. Think of student dorms and you are close to what this is. However, not a problem if you know. Private shower and toilet, very clean and handy for a stay in Aarhus. Check out the 20Kr pints of Carlsberg in the bar next door - worth it just for this.

Need to park about 1 KM away from the hotel...easy and not too expensive, but be warned.
