Our Stay at the Grand Hotel International in Prague From July 17th to 23rd, my best friend and I enjoyed a memorable vacation in Prague, staying at the Grand Hotel International. Our experience was pleasantly surprising. Check-in was efficient, and the staff provided detailed information about our room, dining options, and hotel amenities. Our room was clean and comfortable, complete with a well-stocked mini-bar. A highlight of our stay was the rooftop bar, offering breathtaking views of Prague at night. The breakfast hall impressed us with its diverse food options, allowing us to enjoy different meals each morning—an uncommon treat in hotels. Our room was diligently cleaned daily, and the bathroom amenities worked flawlessly. The entire hotel was well-maintained, and the gift shop offered convenient souvenir shopping and postcard sending. Proximity to a bus stop and tram stop made exploring the city hassle-free. The hotel staff, especially Denisa and Jozef, were exceptionally helpful and friendly, enhancing our overall experience. In conclusion, our stay at the Grand Hotel International made our first visit to Prague memorable. It was the perfect choice for our Prague adventure.

Upon our arrival on the 17th, the hotel's exterior seemed a bit worn, causing initial concern. However, the moment we stepped inside, our worries dissipated. The lobby exuded the grandeur of 1920s American hotels, with a soothing piano melody setting a welcoming tone.

We loved our stay in Prague. The Hotel was great and we had a good last minute discount. Jan and Marty checked us in with the best English. During our stay they helped us with how to get around in the city. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious. Also very quite. Breakfast with local products and varieties to choose from. Bonus point to the souvenir shop and the water we got at check out for on the road!

During my stay I lost my backpack at the Hotel (room/parking lot). Untill now I could not get in touch with the Hotel. This is something that dissapoints me, since there are important things in my backpack. If the Hotel was more reachable, it would be a 10/10

This is a great hotel in easter building style, but thanks to that the rooms are very spacious. Fantastic breakfasts for every taste 👌. Good location (Podbaba train station 6 min walk away and tram and bus stops almost in front of the hotel entrance). Nice bars, very unique design. Full mini bar if you need, electric kettle with set for preparing tea, very good WiFi connection.

For 6 days of my stay absolutely illogical system of room cleaning. This was my second time in this hotel and it hasn't changed. Please, bear in mind that the hotel has the zones : very modern - fully renovated and partly refreshed in the old fashion style.

Hotel has a lot to offer. Parking in Prague is not free, and there is also a lack of space. Hotel has parking on its own, which is a really important thing. Fitness is also good to have and it has. Breakfast is truly good, diverse food. Ksenia, the receptionist, is very, very professional, pleasant to talk to and quite informative. She also suggested and arranged a tour through Prague and the tour was great when compared to other tours. Hotel also has a restaurant which offers good food and when you find yourself tired of walking whole day it is good to have a restaurant in the same building, although there are several restaurants nearby that offer good food and a pleasant atmosphere.

Room was clean and spacious.1 minute walk you reach 2 trams that take you to the center quickly. Hotel was absolutely beautiful, it exceeded my expectations. Amazing value for your money. Loved the architecture and design.Staff was very helpful and kind. Right near the hotel there is a huge supermarket (Kaufland) and many cafes/restaurants. If you want to walk to the historic center, it is 1 hour and it was beautiful since Prague has gorgeous architecture.

Only the breakfast, else I cannot complain. Unfortunately the breakfast was underwhelming, it comprised a tiny selection of food so for the value of 12 euro per person I recommend you save that and try one of the numerous cafes within proximity. I wish they can add more viennoiserie, more fruit options, different cheese types, more cereal options, pancakes, etc.

The location is very convenient, especially for visiting the Czech Technical University, but also with a direct tram line to the city center in front of the door and walking distance to the castle. My room was spacious and very clean (and I particularly appreciated that I didn't have to move the pillows every night...). Personnel was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of national and international food.

just some tiny nit-picky things: - for the higher floors you need to use your card in the elevator, which was rather finicky - breakfast staff was sometimes a tad too eager to clear away plates, cutlery, etc.

Staff were extremely professional and nice. The lady who checked me in was very kind. Waiter and waitresses at the restaurant were very helpful and nice. Marek, Peter and another waiter that unfortunately I forgot the name were very hospitable and welcoming. I liked almost everything during my stay at Grand Hotel International.

There is nothing that I disliked at this hotel and I've visited hundreds and hundreds hotels probably in more that 25 countries so far. I highly recommend Grand Hotel International to everyone. It deserved to be discovered in the city of Prague.

It was a great trip and the Amstrong bar workers are excellent and friendly, at the reception more then a service and informations about everything we were asking, our speaking person there was Ksenia who made our stay in hotel so great, a jung lady who tried her best and was really friendly but also professional and told us where to go, what to see and how to get to places in the hotel and outside, we will hopefully come again 😊Ksenia thank you so much for being such a nice person 😊

Air is in summer too hot on the floors,outside of the room is not climatised, opening the windows is not allowed becouse of insekts,so we weren't able to let the fresh air in the room,bathroom is too small for such a big room, parking ist too small and full and is not posible to find a good place after 16 a clock or at the evening so we had to park and pay outside.

Our room in Grand Hotel International exceeded our expectations - it was spacious, tastefully decorated, very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and good lifts helped to reach the upper floors. The architecture of the building is very impressive and typical of the Communist era. We thought the price for three nights was very reasonable.

It was rather hot during our stay and there didn't appear to be any air conditioning; fortunately we had good sized windows to provide a circulation of air and the sheets were light. We were located above the breakfast room so we were woken every morning by loud conversations.
