Beautiful boutique hotel with warm, welcoming and very accommodating staff. We were traveling as a group of 5 and as we arrived late, the reception staff immediately gave us our room keys and we did the official check in at our leisure the next morning. This was very welcome news having just travelled a very long distance! Gorgeous pool area which was the ideal place to spend a few hours relaxing. Very comfortable beds and excellent air conditioning and Wi-Fi. We had breakfast included in our stay but as we had to leave the hotel very early every morning, the restaurant staff packed us a delicious take away breakfast. No issues getting new towels for the pool or beach each day and when we asked if we could have a late check out on the day of our departure, it was very kindly facilitated at no extra cost. All these little things made our stay at Scuba Lodge very enjoyable. Thank you so much to the staff for such a wonderful week!

Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, the bed very comfortable, the apartment suite had everything I wanted and needed (except for a little desk for all the writing I wanted to do!) A great kitchen with a full sized fridge, stove, and oven helped me feel truly at home, and the patio furniture helped me enjoy the cool breezes in my private space behind a locked gate, which helped me feel super safe as a solo female traveler. I was pleasantly surprised to see that cleaning staff even washed my dirty dishes and did a thorough job of cleaning the suite thoroughly everyday. I especially loved the infinity pool with comfy chaise lounges and the restaurant with a good selection of reasonably priced food and gorgeous view of the ocean. Also the location was central enough in Pietermaai that I could walk everywhere.

The service in the restaurant was hit or miss. Sometimes the wait was a bit long, once I was given the wrong bill, the last cocktail I ordered was substandard. For some reason there were a lot more mosquitoes than there were at another property I stayed earlier just a few blocks away.

We had a spacious room that had high ceilings and many windows so very bright because we had a corner unit. There was a little kitchenette with small fridge where we could store some drinks and snacks. Also a coffee machine (you have to buy the coffee pods). Lovely restaurant with good food and drinks, great service. Also an infinity pool that was never too crowded.

Our room was a city view corner unit and spacious and clean, the only issue was that a few of the windows did not close completely and therefore it was loud due to the traffic and the wifi at the pool was very 'iffy'.

The location is fantastic, they have done an outstanding job to turn these historical houses into a boutique hotel with rooms that are completed with all needed facilities. The views are fantastic and the restaurant is also great. What else can you wish for than to wake up every morning and have a fantastic view on the blue sea when having breakfast. Apart from that what made is all complete, but they matter, is the staff, super friendly and helpful.

There was nothing not to like, but ........ what did happen to us is that they started renovating the rooms under our and painting the building. They proactively informed us that this was going to happen for one day. When this was ongoing for the second day, they actually transferred us to another room which was fantastic. It is all about how it got solved, which was good. I guess a good message to other visitors is that you know you will end up in a hotel that is well maintained :-)

My family and I stayed in the two-bedroom apartment (city view). The apartment was spacious for the five of us traveling together, youngest child is 13-years old. We liked having a full-size fridge, a safe in the apartment, and air conditioning in the two bedrooms.

The downstairs bed and pillows were not very comfortable (hard). Also, the air conditioning is limited to only two bedrooms, which makes the common areas uncomfortably hot. However, after a day, we figured how to cool down the apartment a bit by closing all the shutters (keeping it dark) and allowing the air to circulate a bit.

The room is very large and could use more furniture. There are no sitting areas inside besides the breakfast bar. Housekeeping did a marginal job of cleaning the bathroom. The toilet and bathroom floor were not cleaned for our entire 4-night stay. We had a new person show us the room and she was not properly trained in explaining everything about the accommodations. The street noise was pretty intense in our street-front location. There is no pool beverage service - you have to go to bar to get a drink, with plenty of staff hanging out at bar.

Pools, enough space and good soft covers, pool towels available, lovely restaurang where you can enjoy sunset. Relaxing atmosphire, . Friedly staff. Location, good restaurangs in walking distance. The blue ocean suite was very well equipped like diswasser micro, big fridge, ice machine, washing machine etc.

Air conditation in blue ocean suite was hard to adjust to right temperature. We would have appreciate blanket instead of plain sheet. Every Friday party in the next door hotel. Very hard base! Luckily it stopped at midnight, but be aware. Maybe join in....

Easily one of the greatest vacations I've ever been on! Scuba Lodge is the perfect home away from home to explore and enjoy the full bandwidth of what Curaçao has to offer! Located directly at the beach with an amazing oceanfront pool and restaurant the views are just a dream all day long. I specifically enjoyed the breathtaking sunset at the infinity pool. The lush vegetation and the stylish De Heeren at Sea restaurant (great food while your feet are in the sand) are even more reasons to stay in the whole day. :) Another big plus is the central location in Pietermaai: everything (including the best restaurants) is within walking distance. By far the best part of our experience was the amazing staff: extremely friendly, approachable and helpful. Thanks a lot!

The historic Lodge buildings are a Caribbean dream come true. However, the rooms and suites are somewhat too sparsely equipped and in parts dimly lit.

The hotel is visually incredibly colourful and charming, inside and out. Rooms are large and comfortable, and their restaurant/bar area (overlooking the ocean) is one of Willemstad's loveliest spots. Beyond that, the staff truly went above and beyond to make me comfortable and welcome. Rosy at the front desk was always ready with a smile, a suggestion, or a way to ensure that I had everything I needed. And shoutouts to the bartenders whose fantastic conversation, and solid cocktails, helped me work from the hotel in grand style.

The wifi went down one day, which was a bit of a toughie for one of my work days. But hey, it happens. One other thing - and take this with a grain of salt: in every Curacao hotel I stayed in (three), the hotels make the beds with sheets instead of blankets. It makes sense in a Caribbean environment but just something to be aware of.

Staff (Gina and Chris are very kind and thougtful. We got a free upgrade to a bigger bedroom which was amazing, in front of the street (Zuurzak Suites). The place is very beautiful, its restaurants, pool area, etc. And it is in a great location. The pool next to the sea is amazing, especially in sunset. And there is a second pool.

The bedroom we booked at first was too little and the neighbor hotel's restaurant makes noise till 1 am. But when we got upgraded to a better bedroom none of that was a problem. Not so easy to park sometimes, but that was not an issue for us, we always got some parking around 100 meters from hotel.
