Hotel Pleso

Quiet. Comfortable bed. Close to airport. And, my spacious room had a bathtub, perfect for a post 10-hour bus-ride soak. What made the hotel all the better? The cheerful greeting from receptionist Kristina at my late-night check-in after said 10-hour journey. Also, word was passed along to the next shift that I needed a taxi to the airport and the morning shift contacted me about that (I ultimately used Bolt for the ride). Suggestion: If you will need to eat, do so before coming to the hotel, bring food, or arrive / depart during the hours when the seemingly one walking-distance restaurant is open. When I left late the following morning, I ate at the airport. Hotel Garny Pleso served my purpose well, a one-night place to rest after a long bus ride and before flying out the next day.

Read a lot of mixed reviews for this place. Don’t be fooled, it’s a cool spot, stylish and swanky. Someone put a lot of work and vision into designing the spaces, our room was gorgeous & had a sort of ocean/underwater theme that was really nice and soothing. We only stayed there because it was close to the airport and looked okay, but it was way better than that. Facilities were quite luxurious, really nice bathroom and one of the comfiest beds we stayed in for the whole vacation. Quiet area too.

This was not really advertised, so we didn’t expect it/feel disappointed by it in any way, BUT - there is a non functioning sauna in the building. If it was operational then the place would be an absolute luxury resort. We love a sauna.

Service, cleanliness out of this world. Bathroom was spacious and a had a huge tub - nice touch! Room was basic but had everything you need. Kettle for hot water, one herbal tea bag. TV was awesome - english movies and channels. After a long day of travel before flying out in the morning - that was much appreciated! Shuttle was fantastic, on time, friendly driver - only 9 mins or less from the airport. I booked it when I checked in.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable for me but I have back issues and it was only one night. Felt like an old spring mattress.

After a busy few days leading a workshop in Osijek: it was great to chill out at the Pleso hotel for one night. I loved the quiet room and location. Considering the fact that the hotel is close to the airport,the location is very quiet. The breakfast was very satisfying . I slept very well in a comfortable bed.My colleague and I walked to the airport . It was ok but some of the way is along a busy fast road and for some of the way the way is on grass. It took 40 minutes but at least we did 5000 steps ! I recommend thoroughly the hotel and my colleague and I look forward to coming again

I found the TV difficult to work ! It came on but I think it was more by accident than design ! There were two remote controls .But I was so tired anyway that I was not really bothered about the TV.I should have asked the friendly staff.

The hotel and staff at the hotel were top notch and helped me get to my room quickly. Staff also helped me get a taxi to the airport quick and easy.

Only complaint is that the walls are pretty thin, my neighbor was on his phone whenever I would wake up and I could hear the whole conversation, he was also a loud snorer. I'm a heavy sleeper so it did not disturb my sleep, but I could see this as a problem for someone else.

Lovely spacious room. Good Wi-Fi . Liked the shower. Very comfy bed. Proximity to Pleso airport.Due to a huge train delay ,3hours, we arrived very late 1am. The member of staff on duty was very helpful and reassuring.I would like to stay again at the hotel and spend more time there.I liked the layout of the hotel and quiet position.Considering the closeness to an international airport,it was amazingly quiet.

We booked two rooms and I asked for them to be close together . Unfortunately my colleague’s room was on the second floor while my room was on the ground floor. I was unhappy about this . I thought I had booked breakfast and was surprised to be told I hadn’t booked it but the lovely receptionist told us it was ok to have breakfast for which we had to pay 120 Kunas. I thought that was a little expensive for the choice of food available.

Free airport shuttle is limited to early morning (4:30 and 5:30 if I remember correctly) which worked well for me but is something to keep in mind. Hotel is close to the airport so a taxi/uber/bolt is cheaper than their shuttle at other times, if you can get one.

The bed was much too soft for me. That said, if you like soft beds this might just be the bed for you.

I needed a place close to the airport and it took about 5 minutes to get there. The receptionist was very helpful. I asked for a taxi to pick me up at 5 am and the receptionist took care of arranging it, and she carried my heavy suitcase up to the first floor for me.

My air conditioner was VERY noisy. However, I was grateful because the walls are pretty thin and I could hear snoring in the neighbor room when the air was shut off.

I stayed here for one night between my connected flights. Staff were very friendly. The hotel is easily accessible from the hotel by Uber, bus or taxi. They also provide their own shuttle service to the airport which offers you the flexibility and reliability for going to the airport on time.

I did not notice anything negative.

The free shutle was an excellant bonus and the main reason we chose this property. It worked very smoothly and was very helpful. The night staff person, was aslo excellant. I'm sorry but I can't remembrer her name.

The property was clean but a little tired. However, that was mainly cosmetics, so it really didn't matter. It was just a place to stay overnight to catch an early morning flight.
