Residence Umag Plava Laguna

Due to having some movement restrictions, I made a request when making a reservation to be assigned a room that is easily available and the hotel obliged which made my stay that much more comfortable. Also, all the employees in the hotel were incredibly nice and helpful. Special thanks to reception clerk Mr. Mario for going the extra mile and speaking our local language. The location is also great, practically on the beach. We have very nice memories of our stay at this hotel.

The drain in the shower was a bit clogged so water was slow to drain when taking a shower. Also considering we stayed in Istria in the summer, there was suprisingly scarce breakfast options of fresh fruits.

Rooms are small but nice and clean, they have a bike room where you can store your bike. It’s close to the beach, deck chairs and towels included in the price, also wellness and fitness which we didn’t use because the weather was very nice. Staff was nice and chatty. Food tasted great and there was many options you could choose from. I would definitely recommend. It was a great stay

Nice hotel perfectly located on the outskirts of the town center, right on the very nice beach! Good breakfast and dinner. Nice secure parking on the cite!

Slightly outdated hotel in need of modernization.

The hotel is right on the beach, we also had a corner room so the balcony was huge! I liked the furnishing in the room.

The bathroom had some painters tape and leftover paint left on the tiles. The toilet flusher thing also needed some macgyvering to make the water stop.

Great facility. The staff is super friendly and professional. Food is a bar higher than in similar hotels. Very high-quality ingredients and kudos to people taking car of the food.

Dinner drinks are too expensive. If they would be priced more logical more people would opt-in for them so think the hotel should re-think their approach. Two glasses of wine are more than the whole bottle in retail.

Great location, amazing nature, lots of facilities for kids and adults. Good rooms, fantastic food, kind staff people.

Water in the new kids aqua park pool with tubes is very cold.

long hairs left in the room. cleaner waking us up to clean the room at 7:30am. food wasn’t labelled and I don’t like fish.

The staff was very attentive, polite and friendly. I received even a small gift to my birthsday. Local drinks for free to dinner.

Everything was great, especially new pools for kids.

The hotel is located directly to the seaside and have its own beach with umbrella and chairs for free, food was great and staff was very friendly. The pool was clean and we really enjoyed our holidays. Thank you for the birthday surprise in my room. ♡
