Hilton San Jose La Sabana

Excellent location, gorgeous views and great fresh new decor. Great lobby and elevation and very nice ammenities. Rooms are very nicely appointed and very comfy.

Breakfast was too expensive (30 dollars), and the parking was over 30 dollars, which was not disclosed on booking. I assumed they would include parking.

Many pictures on the Booking.com website and app are of a different hotel. There is no roof top pool and bar, there is no spa. There is a pool on the top floor, but it is enclosed. i was looking forward to a rooftop bar experience as the pictures suggested! Noise travels in this hotel. i was on the 24th floor and could hear all of the road noise and construction noise. i could even hear someone being sick in a nearby room at 3am in the morning… it woke me up… rooms are not soundproof. asked twice for my room to be serviced when I was out, as I was asleep when the first service came around. didn’t happen

Gorgeous building and hotel, beautiful bar and lobby area, nice views from room, room very modern, comfortable and well decorated. Close to stadium, restaurants and park.

Some American and European tourists did not wear masks in elevators or elsewhere in hotel despite security downstairs. Some rude professional soccer players blasting annoying reggaeton music early in morning next to jacuzzi and pool - employees walked by and said nothing. There is already music playing on loudspeaker for gym and pool area. Super annoying and unrelaxing to hear two different types of music at same time and not expected from upscale hotel.

Location - just outside La Sabana, a big park for leisure activities Room - one of the best sleep i had in years. Bed si super comfortable. Views - uninterrupted view of all of San jose Gym, pool and spa - very well appointed and not crowded at all Staff are friendly and professional The cloud restaurant - breakfast and dinner is amazing. A lot of choices and delicious food.

Jacuzzi was dirty with sludge sticking to the sides (on my third day. It was clean on my first day). Daily cleaning should be a must.

nice lokation with the park and stadion. the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. a real joy.

the acustics in the restaurant and bar area is not really great. the band during the evening in the restaurant was so loud that even the waiters had trouble hearing me yell our order. the bar has a slight tendency to overdo the alcohol rather then the taste. which is a shame if you want to have a nice cocktail.

The staff were all wonderful and very accommodating and professional, upgrading me to a stadium view room which I really appreciated given I was unable to board my flight thus had to stay in SJO for an extra night. One thing I wasn't too sure about was the Sauna, the instruction need to be printed out and stuck to the wall outside the Sauna so we know how to operate it. The room was incredible and very clean, food was great and the views too. I had a wonderful stay at the hotel and definitely recommend it. 30 mins to and from the hotel.

Having worked out the system to use the room key in the lift it was very easy to move about the hotel. the room was extremely comfortable and not too big

at first I didn’t know that The Skylobby was the reception - it caused a bit of a problem finding it at first. I stayed for 4 nights and my room key did not work on two days - I made sure that I never had it close to my phone or any electronic device.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was friendly and warm. I enjoyed my stay overall.

Sauna and jacuzzi were not hot enough. There were no options to get the jacuzzi higher. It only provided the bubble sensation but not the heat. A jacuzzi is not the same without hot water. Sauna had a bright light on all the time. I was unable to turn it off. I asked for help and the staff could not do it. He was amazing by the way! Sauna only went up to 89 degrees. I didn't sweat at all.

Extremely well appointed rooms, epic views of the sunset, district lights and stadium. Great facilities - pool, gym and sauna. Wonderful staff and food. perfect location. IMO the best place to stay in San Jose, Costa Rica, hands down.

Contrary to older reviews the parking is free. We loved the room and bar. Didn’t get to use the pool but it looked great. This is the tallest building in Costa Rica but the top floors are private apartments. Still the view is amazing. would recommend mountain side since the Stadium is not usually interesting and not lit unless there’s a game.

Could be a bit closer to downtown
