Hotel L'Oiseliere Montmagny

Staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. My French is poor but they pivoted as soon as they realized we were English speakers. An example of this was switching wait staff who were more comfortable communicating in English. The pool area is amazing, loved the plant life and the birds. We bought the meal package for dinner and breakfast - excellent food and value. Most comfortable hotel bed ever. We had a room on the main floor facing the parking lot so unloading the car was a breeze. Due to travel changes we opted to spend a second night as we were so pleased with the hotel.

As other travellers mentioned the rooms are a bit dated. If you have lots of devices to charge, consider bringing a power bar.

Enroute to PEI, I booked this Hotel for one night. We were so pleased with the rooms, that we pre-booked for one night on our return to Toronto. The atrium is the highlight filled with tropical plants, caged lovebirds, indoor swimming pool and whirlpool. There is also an outdoor pool surrounded by beautifully kept grounds and sitting areas.

Perhaps a hot breakfast could be offered. There were no other negatives about this little oasis.

The location was good for a one night stay - close to local amenities. Staff were nice and helpful.

There are two parts to the hotel. The newer section’s rooms open out onto the indoor pool in a covered atrium. Quite beautiful. The older section’s rooms are just standard hotel rooms with no views. We looked out on a back parking area. Completely over priced for what we got.

The staff were very helpful and the room was comfortable. I was only passing through, but it seemed like a nice place to have an extended stay. I particularly appreciated the staff trying hard to speak English with me after hearing my mangled French.

There was a little noise from the room next door. I was pretty tired so it didn't bother me too much, but a light sleeper might have been bothered.

I informed that I had a cat, not a dog running loose but a cat in a cage Not a cat running around but gaged the entire time . So there was no additional cleaning required on behalf of your staff , but I am charged as if she were a dog or someone who doesn’t respect pet rules . Next time I’ll leave her in the car or stay elsewhere unfortunately and miss those lovely amenities .

The atrium is beautiful with birds chirping, plants and a nice swimming pool. There is also a swimming pool outside. The kids spent a great afternoon and morning in the pools. The staff was very friendly. I asked for another more quiet room and they accommodated my wish without any problem.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The pool in the atrium was brilliant. Loved the birds chirping and the greenery, so relaxing. Check in was easy, the restaurant was amazing. Great food and they don’t rush you. We will be staying there the next time we drive through out east.

My family and I loved it - great stop for a night after a day of driving. The nice Restaurant was an added bonus. Kind of has everything you want - especially for the price. We would stay here again without question.

Super fast and friendly check-in, the place is beautiful and well maintained inside and outside. It's close to gaz, groceries and restaurants but it's still a quiet place.....the atrium with the pool is awsome too!

Room was nice. Shower was perfect.

Hall carpet needs to be replaced on the second floor. Bathroom door needs to be painted. Didn’t go with the rest of the room. Didn’t know there were no elevators to bring up our luggage. No one offered to help us.
