London Travel Inn

The location was perfect for us as it is easily accessible right off of the highway as we entered London. We also planned to visit two to three locations that were scattered around different parts of town, so the location put us in the right starting point. This was our second time using this facility and returned because of the convenience and the warm reception given by both the owner and the staff.

Only issue was with the WiFi. Could not connect to it or the TV. However, the night receptionist came to our room and reset the router so we did relax with TV and offered to switch us to another room, but we declined as it was not an emergency.

The only downfall was that no breakfast was offered. But it had been cancelled due to the previous 2 Covid years. Understandable. There is a Tim Hortons across the road so we were not overly inconvenienced. The room was good for its value. Close to our destination and clean. No complaints for the price we paid.

Check in was easy, staff was friendly and entertaining for the kids. Room was clean, no bugs, and no odour like some reviews stated. There are vending machines available as well as an ATM on site. Microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker in room and worked fine. Ice bucket in room as well. No complaints ither then the bed wasn't very comfortable, and the wifi was terrible.

The beds aren't very comfortable, but they aren't awful. The free wifi was terrible.

The room was really large and well furnished for the motel. I also didn´t expect getting fridge and microwave in my room, it was very useful. Like that they have a very affordable restaurant and Tim Hortons just meters away from the building.

Just because this motel is pet friendly as I guess, some guests left their dog in the room alone and it was barking and scratching the door from inside really loudly till late night. But I understand, that the hotel personnel can´t do anything in such cases. Also, the pillows weren´t quite comfortable and a/c a bit too strong even on lowest settings, but it's minor issues compared to the overall thing.

Breakfast was not included but there were options within walking distance. Owner was greeting people at front desk and was very welcoming. A great host. Close to highway and was easy to locate. Good value for the cost and I will use it again.

TV remote was not functioning. Also someone had brought their dogs who were not well trained and they barked a lot. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay.

The place was very clean, I'll give them that. Staff were very nice and helpful. Bathroom was very small. Pillows were not nice. Mattress was ok but you can tell people sit on the edge of the bed. Perhaps they need to turn them every so often. All in all a good stay but...

I thought the room was large, spacious, well decorated and clean and felt the price was more than reasonable. I saw a sign at checkout that stated there is an early check in/ late check out available for $/hour and I wish that had been offered in the online booking, as I would have preferred both. Also, the room key stopped working several times locking us out of our room. Front desk staff were quick to reprogram it and for us it was only a minor inconvenience. However, had our room not been around the corner from the front desk it would have irritating.

Clean room close to everything like 401, car wash, Chunky's roadhouse, gas, shopping, Tim Hortons etc

No mention of $20 pet fee on booking.com and it only say "may be applicable" as in maybe not a sure thing. As if they feel like charging us for it? I cant let them know on booking.com that we plan to being pets. We are deaf and we dont do phones or communicate with them. It was straightforward to show I'd and credit card and sign papers I dont read fine prints. Manager saw us bring in our kittens. And made me read small part on contract saying pets fee is $20 before we paid for our room and $250 if we dint let them know.. We paid $20 on top of $126 we paid for the room. It did not happen to us at Motel 6 2 months ago. No pets fee and we got 2 cats in and no problem. I hope they dont start with children fee in the future. Our pets are our children.

I love how the room was clean and the pillows were fluffy. I enjoyed that despite the facility being full it was still super quiet on the floor I was on. The staff was also super helpful and very friendly. I also appreciate the staff giving us a very large room for my partner and I as the only room left had two beds and a sofa bed.

I have no negative feedback. This place exceeded my expectations.

Nice and quiet place

The hand wash sink was out side the bathroom, right beside the entrance door to the unit, if your brushing your teeth and someone comes into the unit you get hit with the entrance door, was really weird, when your use to having the sink in the bathroom.
