Morel Executive Suites

Everything... it is a very practical/functional space... clean and well maintained. It is at a great location to visit this region or if you are passing by from/to New Brunswick, Maine, Quebec. Right next door is a great coffee shop and a nice talk next to the river. Many places to eat. Also has washer/dryer (they even left the detergent). Nice kitchen. Very quite area. Great for a good night sleep.

The only thing that was confusing is about locking the door. We tried to lock it and then re-enter (as per the instructions) but it did not work (luckily one of us stayed inside). It seems that, once it is locked, you cannot unlock it anymore (except from the inside). Or the instructions were simply not precise/clear.

One word - Beautiful!! Love the layout in the apartment. Very cozy. On my list of favourites to stay in Edmunston, NB. Didn’t take pictures because we were late getting in and didn’t want to take pics of our mess. What you see in the pictures when you book is what it is.

The only thing is we got in very late at night and we could not see the door where we need to be at and had to use the light on our phones to see the door number and keypad to get in.

Code to get into the door was convenient. Had some trouble but the owner was at my door within minutes. I was doing it backwards!! Email instructions were confusing, but the way it was written in the binder in the room was exactly the way it should be emailed to all customers! Owner agreed!!! :)

Absolutely NOTHING!!! Unit was well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay!! Washer and Dryer in the unit WITH laundry soap to use, and there was NO CHARGE to use the machines. I paid a fortune for two loads at another hotel!!! Would have waited for here, but it was at the end of our trip and we needed clothes washed a week previous!!

We absolutely loved this place. Our first vacation in 4 years. It had laundry facilities inside, a comfortable bed, great shower, it was quiet. And THE TOWELS WERE SOFT! It had every little comfort of home. The check-in was easy and hassle-free. The owner was around and made sure we had everything we needed; very friendly.

The only thing we didn't like is that we couldn't stay longer. Really can't think of anything we didn't like.

This was the perfect room for our one night stay in Edmundston. There was a good restaurant right around the corner. It was really great to have laundry machines in the room - much needed after a lot of travelling! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed and clean. The kitchen had everything we might need including the full size fridge. Parking was easy, well marked and right outside the door.

What an amazing stay we had! The suite was great. It was really spacious and nicely decorated and well equipped with a full kitchen and everything we needed. It felt really clean, comfortable and was perfect for our stay. The washer and dryer in our room was a bonus, as was the cafe downstairs. We met the owner Denis and he was so lovely and welcoming. The check in process was also really straightforward and easy. Its in a great location with a really cool local bar/ restaurant right around the corner.

Nothing at all- it was great!

We loved that our room had a full kitchen - if we were staying longer this would have been an added benefit. I also loved that the tv had Netflix on it so we could watch something easily.

I am not sure if the room beside us smoked in their room because it was raining outside but we did have a very heavy smoking smell come in our room. We also ran out of Kleenex (the box in our room only had a few pieces left in it) and we couldn’t find more so had to use toilet paper- then we almost ran out of toilet paper!

I loved being able to cook for myself and found all the kitchen tools/ implements that I needed

I appreciated the salt/ pepper and the coffee was a nice touch although I didn’t use it… I was only staying one night and could have used just a little bit of olive oil… I made pasta with chicken and mushrooms… it was very challenging to cook the mushrooms, chicken on the pan without oil!

Very easy to get to from the Trans-Canada highway. There was a wonderful walking path near the suite that ran along the river, with a nice park. The room itself was perfect. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Nice to have a washer/dryer. We took umbrella chairs and set them up on them up on the patio, with the result that we met some interesting people who stopped to chat.

There are only two things I would include: washcloths in the bathroom, and a pair of scissors in the kitchen.

Affordable. Convenient location. Very quiet. Ample parking. Very spacious, essentially a small apartment. Well appointed and spotless. Comfortable queen sized bed. The kitchen was well setup. Delicious local coffee from a nearby coffee shop/roaster. Also, a very short walk (2 minutes) to a delicious bistro and microbrewery.

No disadvantages.
