Happy Motel

The room and bathroom were spotless and fresh smelling. The vinyl tiles on the floor were very clean. The bed was very comfortable and inviting. The sheets felt soft and new. The towels were nice and clean. As a single woman travelling alone I felt very safe. There were security cameras around the property. It was nice to have a mini fridge and microwave in the room. The blinds were very good for keeping the light out. The owners were very welcoming and made me feel at home.

The towel bar needs to be tightened.

It’s very very clean. I felt safe. This was our second stay. We came back because of how clean the unit was, and it was the lowest price available. Close to the highway.

Very basement-y feel. Cold vinyl floor - on the other hand, the floor was perfectly clean. Carpet is never as clean as a hard surface. Shower door doesn’t stay closed very well. Fridge was not cold. The night before we stayed in Ottawa in a lovely room for $97.00 which was a much better value but Edmunston doesn’t offer anything in that price range so we came back to this place because we knew it was very very clean.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, gas station, DQ, Tim Hortons were all within steps of the Happy Motel which was a bonus too. We needed a comfortable room for one night to continue our trip & we found it here when we were unable to find any other accommodation that was less expensive. We had brought our own paper plates & utensils so we had everything that we wanted & needed. Thank you Happy Motel. Yes, I would return if we do a similar trip again!

Clean, nothing fancy but suited our needs perfectly. Very close to casino, parks, malls, etc.

Hairdryer wasn't working, but I brought my own so it wasn't an issue. No coffee maker in the room, even though it said there was in the description. Timmy's is a 2 minute walk across the street.

Welcoming owners or managers. Room was spacious with thoughtful touches such as useful sized bedside tables. Adequate floor space and TV was easy to access for the likes of us with limited technological expertise. Centrally located in the pleasant community of Edmundston with plenty of eating and shopping choices nearby. Quiet at night

Not my first time staying here. Rooms are always spotless. Staff has always been friendly and helpful if I needed anything.

This stay, there were missing light bulbs in the main area fixtures so it was pretty dim in the evening. Bathroom was also missing two of the four light bulbs and the two that were there, were not the same kind of bulb so strange lighting in the bathroom. All minor

Great location and very clean

Our first stay was at the back of the building. The room had a freezer in the mini fridge and was very quiet. The second time we stayed there, our room was by a busy road and very noisy from the traffic. This room did not have a freezer in the mini fridge and we had expected it and had things we wanted to put in the freezer.

Room was a decent size with a bed and table for two. The room was clean, to be honest I didn't inspect it closely as I was too tired. Bathroom was super small, but adequate enough. Room was equipped with a small refrigerator and a microwave; that was a surprise and a complete bonus.

Air conditioning was super loud, however I realize that we just came off a cold spell and the weather had turned quite a bit warmer so the A/C had to do quite a bit of work to cool the room.

We're on a road-trip on a budget. It was all we needed; to rest my head, watch a movie, take a warm shower, microwave dinner and breakfast. Quiet, warm, cute and cheap. Funny and friendly staff. Good location. Extra blankets. Smoke free-room. Easy check-in/out. Pre-booked last minute. Free parking, free Wifi.

It was a very comfortable, cozy and warm room. Nice and clean and very welcoming. Comfortable bed and great location! Will definately stay there again on our way back home
