Abbeymoore Manor

Breakfast was great, one morning poached eggs were on the menu, I never eat them so they very kindly made me scrambled. Easy to get around to all the places we wanted to go. Nice to stay in an old heritage house.

Parking was a little tight, good thing we have a small car.

Loved the location, the breakfasts were delicious, and the furniture & details of the room made for an amazing and unique experience.

We weren’t big fans of the pillows but still had a good sleep each night.

The breakfast was so lovely and the hosts were so friendly and fun, and it had very personal touch which we loved! If you don’t mind walking for 7 minutes from bus stop, the bus to downtown is a real short 5 minutes bus ride! The surrounding area was quite and lovely! We saw a deer family strolling around :) Thanks for hosting us with such a warm welcome!!

Beautiful old house from 1912. Lovely room with little sitting area and balcony to sit out on a nice day or evening. The decor is stunning and Wow you will certainly enjoy your breakfast. Quaint, bright room with tables inside and on the front porch. So very wonderful!!!

the location was brilliant. easy walk to shopping centre and beautiful walking path along the ocean. handy on site parking. wonderful historic house. large bedroom with ensuite and king bed. unbelievably delicious breakfast. lovely staff, and very quiet at night. just loved it!!!

The break fast here was amazing :) loved the host and his jokes! Great location if you’re trying to stay near downtown. Definitely stay here again if I’m back in Victoria.

Very very quiet - both outside and inside the house - apart from the occasional door bang (inevitable). And the breakfasts were all delicious and innovative (5 days). Rockland Avenue is a pleasant location among trees and gardens, yet (mostly) less than 10 minutes drive to almost anywhere in Victoria.

The bed was softer than I am used too (and in most hotels), but I adjusted. It would be handy to have a firm chair and small table for a laptop, but there is a desk and printer on the landing, so this is a quibble.

Abbeymoore Manor was beautiful. I enjoyed the character of the 1912 historic building, and the location was very peaceful. The Lilac room we stayed in had a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The large porch had a few seating options where we had a peaceful breakfast both mornings admiring the beautiful garden, while listening to the sweet sounds of the birds. I appreciated the fresh coffee on at 7:30, and the breakfast exceeded my expectations! It started with orange juice and a delicious fruit bowl with yogurt and granola and the second course was a delicious frittata, sausage and greens. The second morning we had a pastry with a drizzle of caramel and then avocado toast with a choice of bacon and egg or smoked salmon. When booking there was a spot to state any allergies, so I mentioned I am gluten free, which I appreciated, and the food was delicious!

Exceptional breakfast. Room with a view, clean comfortable and charming. Great value. No need to go anywhere else!

The location is amazing we walked so much also the manor itself so beautiful and the staff was exactly the perfect amount of friendly ohhhh and the breakfast on the porch so yummm We stayed in the lilac room with the beautiful tub and most comfortable bed :))

I didn't like that we only stayed for one night 😂
